Underrated horror movies

The Evil is very decent, but I haven’t seen it in years. Haunted mansion type.

You like the changeling? I watched it a long time ago and it freaked me out. It was 2 am and I was home alone. I started hearing noises from the other room haha

I couldn't find it again for years. I thought it was a 1970s movie. I was so happy when I found it again

I haven’t seen that in years, but I recall it was a good one.

No. This movie is shit beyond shit.

This, Hostel, and basically any eli roth movie is awful. Just awful.

Any credit to his movies removes any credibility to evaluating any horror movie.

Is that where they talk about the smell of flossing?

Cabin in the Woods was good meta fun
The Mist for the ending
Endless was smart
Host is my favorite recent movie.

Another one of those threads where I'm going go buy 2 dozen movies when it's done.

Starfish is a current fav of mine. May not be exactly horror though, perhaps more scifi. But if you ever lost a close friend I feel like this film depicts grief pretty accurately. It’s on Shudder.

Ginger Snaps. It’s a cult classic but somehow I don’t see people talk about it often. Good werewolf/coming of age film.
