This, Hostel, and basically any eli roth movie is awful. Just awful.

Any credit to his movies removes any credibility to evaluating any horror movie.

Maybe? I honestly can’t remember but it did have some cringy writing/acting due to being so low budget so it wouldn’t surprise me.

I don’t think it is. When people talk of actual good werewolf movies they talk about The Wolfman, An American Werewolf in London, and The Howling.

I watched this back in my teens and really enjoyed it.

some of the werewolf effects are a bit iffy,but nick damici is excellent.

I’ve had this on my to watch list for awhile. Need to get to it.

Starfish is a current fav of mine. May not be exactly horror though, perhaps more scifi. But if you ever lost a close friend I feel like this film depicts grief pretty accurately. It’s on Shudder.

Ginger Snaps. It’s a cult classic but somehow I don’t see people talk about it often. Good werewolf/coming of age film.
