I look at the rampage of Pride days and then I see this guy Rashad who transformed into a journeyman. Then I tell myself WTF??? Even when Rashad was laying and praying against Rampage, He should have knocked him out cold... What a weak chin

Rampage has been tkoed more than rashad so I'm shocked rashad didn't knock rampage out... What a weak chin

At the time it wasnt unbelievable at all. At the time it seemed like they were evenly matched, and we were in for a great battle. Instead Rampage went to go do a movie, and had alot of ring rust, and rashad ran circles around him for almost the whole fight.Plus its not like Rampage is doing much better than Rashad right now.

Rashad beat with with superior movement and agility.

Rampage did come close to KOing him in that fight though.

That punch at the start tho, so epic.

Vintage Rashad and post injury Rashad are like two different fighters thats all you need to know.

Rashad was still wrestling guy back then....
Idk why he forgot he can wrestle with time.

I can tell you that Rampage would crush him in the rematch...if they played it in EA Sports UFC 2 because that's what Rampage does for a living now. :p

Its the same with Dan henderson, rampage and others...injuries prevent them from doing so and they have to rely on their punching power.

Bader too. Prime Rampage KOs Bader and Evans at the same time.

True

it was so sad- his speed and evasive movement discouraged Rampage- after Rampage didnt win with the 1 exchange where he hit Rashad good, Rampage decided he would lose, and then did.

unfortunatley the easiest way to beat him was always to get him to think you would, and his training got lazy once he decided he was a boxer.

Did you see the fight? That should answer all your questions. Rashad was the better fighter. That's basically end of thread with all respect.

He came pretty close to winning when he knocked Rashad down, he just missed all the follow-up punches.

Rampage should have beat Rashad that night but he was completely out of shape. Still he had his chance. If only he didn't miss half the gnp he would have finished him.

Once Rampage lost to Griffin I knew this was a man who no longer had the hunger to be champ again.
