I asked these questions in another thread and didn't get a response. So I'm asking them here.

Someone posted that the reason Dana kicked Ariel out was because he leaked the news and Brock was upset, not Dana supposedly. And that Lesnar was upset because it could have ruined the deal somehow.

So.......

1. How could his have effectively ruined the deal?

2. I guess if they were going to do a big press thing and attempt to surprise people it could have affected that. The UFC could have said their was going to be a big announcement and let the hype build up and then have Lesnar come out.

3. Maybe it's Dana whose really mad but because he can't say it he says its Brock whose mad about it, not him. I mean, if it could have ruined the deal, wouldn't both Lesnad and Dana be upset about it?

They're upset because it deflated the hype. Dana always promises big announcements, and then they fail to be big or fail to be true. He finally had a true and big announcement and Ariel bitch slapped him and told it himself.

the term used for this situation is "butthurt".

Brock Lesnar going full Jon Jones 2011 here "You ruined my special night, Ariel"

I'd be shocked if Brock gave a shit. He only cares about that paycheck

I suspect Zuffa really like the guy but when somebody is leaking company secrets, it would be suicide to keep said person in circulation.

What company in their right mind would purchase something that has it's own personal parasite attached to it?

Wait....didn't they release that UFC 200 add with the Brock trailer last night? They weren't having a big announcement. They were not having a special conference. The difference was literally crumbs, Ariel releasing the story at 8 (or whatever time) and UFC dropping the trailer at 10 (or whatever time).

Even when Ariel reports it and says it's close to happening people always want confirmation from the UFC

Way overreaction by brock/zuffa

1. If there's a gag order on the deal until the official reveal, then someone leaking it out early would be violating the terms of the deal which could potentially ruin the deal.

The UFC/Zuffa likes to do things on "their" terms, and Ariel breaking the news before the UFC just pissed them off more. I am not sure if this is true but I read some where that the reason Ariel got fired from Fox was because he leaked that Diaz was going to fight Connor originally.

... and Brock was upset, not Dana supposedly. ...

Sounds like bullshit. Brock wasn't involved in Conor vs Nate 1 when it was leaked early. If it couldn't have been Brock upset back then, it must have been Dana. Is it hard to believe Dana would pull some petty control freak shit?

And having Rory on his show talking about free agency. How dare Ariel be involved in anything that is contrary to UFC's best interests! Hmmph!

They had to make sure he did not leak the Fedor news too

Brock stipulated if Ariel broke the story before the UFC, he'd back out.

It was widely speculated that Ariel leaking Conor vs Diaz was the reason Ariel got fired, but later Ariel said on his show that it was because the UFC got annoyed about things he was asking fighters on his show such as whether they would enjoy being free agents and let other organizations like Bellator make them offers.

He talks about it 14 minutes into this video.

I personally believe that last night's move by the UFC was partly because they're still pissed at him about talking to fighters about free agency.

If true, that's got to be one of thee lamest reasons ever. Who wants to watch Brock anyway? Let him back out.
