It was not anything in the fight that went wrong, I can't say. I can't say anything and anybody was like I'm doing something wrong. I did work with coaches and
mentally and everything like a lot. I was preparing for this fight in a way that I won't for a regular bout.

This is a very important fight for me, you know, I have to win. I have to win to keep working towards my dream. But in that last fight what happened is I broke a
hand and that's something that didn't go as I had expected. And even so, with this broken hand I fought very well and had a close fight.

My only mistake in that fight was the last 2 minutes in those championship rounds. That was a mistake because I think because of that the judges got swayed
to his favor. And I think next time it will be a very different fight. It's not even gonna be close to the same event.

Of course, I did expect my career to go the same way as Khabib's. Wanting to repeat his results. But we have had lots of other champions, for example
George St. Pierre who lost a lot of times. And he avenged everybody. And now everybody recognize that he's one of the greatest.

No, I'm not surprised to fight somebody like Mario Bautista, because I watched his fight with Patchy Mix and Khabib texts me "he's next for you". So I expected it,
also because 8-0 is a good resume. I don't want to say nobody doesn't know about him, it's gonna be better if I say that he's not too famous. If you look at his
instagram he has way less followers but I think, like, true fans know of him. So it's a good opportunity for him here to gain more fame. You know, fighting me
means a lot of fans are gonna watch. I mean, what can he say when the UFC reaches out about him fighting Umar? He's in that position where he just has to
accept an offer like that. So I expected him here, and he's a good fighter. Good striker and a warrior.

Merab vs Pyotr? It's amazing. Amazing and like, stupid maybe. Because when you're the champion and fight too often, I don't know... Maybe he has this
super health. You know, feeling that he just keeps it up and it's his choice. I can't say nothing but that it's amazing. And as a fighter it's always good to stay active
when you can. Building hype and I think that will be really good for him here. It all depends on how well he actually recovers. I think Pyotr Yan can beat him,
but I expect Merab to go for takedowns and succeed.

Is this neckbeard really talking about himself in the third person? He must forget that he got dropped and clowned in his last fight.

well he did break his hand in the fight... so he was at a disadvantage. but like most injuries that happen during a fight, its your own fault. dont take a step right, you twist your knee like aspinall did. don't throw a punch right or have a good wrap guy, you break your hand.

i would like to see it run back as i think umar is the only guy who could give merab a run for his money.

Exactly… keyboard warriors on Sherdog act like they can fight a 5 round fight and not get tired with a broken hand. <puhlease> <{Heymansnicker}>

is it against their religion to fight more than once a year? They spend all this time training but never fight. It’s a big reason why I don’t like these guys tbh.

GSP did not lose 'a lot of times'. By MMA standards 2 losses in a career is nothing, especially when they were both avenged.

It's probably because they are so paranoid about losses on their record that they fight so infrequently. Which is why it's great Merab has such a idgaf attitude about keeping active.

His mistake was being the inferior fighter.

It is against their religion to fight for money at all.

This guy has to be one of the biggest cry babies the sport currently has. IMO he’ll never be champ as long as Merab is around as he simply didn’t look on Merabs level, crying about a decision you clearly lost is just a bad look.

My boy posts some top quality cliffs but the lads are too slavering in their racism to bother tossing a like.
