Media Umar might be the chillest in their camp.

They all seem pretty chill to be honest. It’s when people like Dildo Danis purposefully antagonizes one of them for attention that shit starts to hit the fan.

They are rooting against Islam, vehemently, but also try to position him above Khabib out of spite.

Both can be true.
I think a poll would be interesting and I don't think it would be biased in favor of the Conor/Khabib folks. But I'm too lazy to create one. lol

I have no problem with Khabib’s record, and he’s a great fighter. But criticizing someone for reading a book is backward as fuck.
Well that’s what we he comes from. It’s all he knows and that’s part of what made him champ. That being said Khabib has a degree. I think it’s the mafia element he didn’t like so much.

Totally get where you’re coming from, I get it. But I don’t like his attitude toward reading, whether it’s a book about the mafia or something Dickens wrote. Even an elite fighter can squeeze an hour or so of reading into his schedule, and reading is always good, I think, no matter the subject, if you have a critical mind.

Islam is better, no chance Khabib finishes on the ground. Islam Will be able to do what other Khabib opponents haven't been able to do....strike freely with zero fear of a takedown coming. And honestly, I even think Islam is the superior grappler. Although it's close.

But that's okay, islam will keep winning and Khabib can keep watching on the sideline as the truth comes out of who is better.
Well, he couldn't be comfortable because every punch he threw would be followed by a takedown attempt. Islam can't hold that pace 5 rounds we saw that against Volk first fight.

but... Islam has a large ceiling regarding legacy, definetly.

I’m convinced that Khabib wouldn’t do well at welterweight at all like Islam.

Yeah but it's just like everybody thinks Khabib was invincible. He arguably lost to Tibau and had a performance against Al, was getting stung by leg kicks by Justin, got rocked by Michael Johnson, and etc. Islam would have no fear whatsoever of the takedown if they fought. At worst he might get held down and controlled a little bit, but he would be in no danger of being submitted or finished by strikes.

The way would be to tire him out with relentless takedown attempts, it is not necessary for Khabib to look for finish.

There was probably some humor there . Just banter between the boys - at the end he says to the joker of the group that he should read more.

It's funny because most dagestani teens I knew in school (I was born in Russia) called themselves gangster and were very fan of tony montana and all that stuff

Khabib is a massive hypocrite and most likely this reading hobby has made him insecure so he just wanted to bring Umar down.

I think Khabib was saying don't waste your time reading BS. If you want to read, read stuff that benefits you.
It can be argued that whatever book Umar is reading could be benefiting him in some way such as sparking his imagination, improving his literacy, or providing some balance his life. You can't make your career 100% of your life. When you're not balanced it has negative physical and psychological effects which will be a detriment to reaching your goals.

Umar is the one in the Numagomedov camp not reaching his goals so Khabib is leading by example.
