Its so crazy how UMA went from an unknown company I reviewed a few years ago. To them posting practically daily videos on people buying their mitts and uploading short videos on instagram. I love all the cool color themes people are coming out with these days! I always gravitated to certain colors, and was pretty safe in terms of color themes. Keep up the amazing work you guys!

Hey I just wanted to ask all of you who know a lot about UMA brand. Where Exacly the gear is acctualy produced?
More important, I wanted to order some stuff today, but I was’t sure which is the legit website for ordering, since there are two: https://www.boxingcustom.com/products.php?cid=88
And there the gloves are cheaper starting with 90$
And than this one with the completely same looking gear but a different price of the gloves - 130$
    https://umafightgear.com.au/cart
Please help me solve this dilemma, I woud really apriciate it
    Cheers

I ordered my headgear from the Boxing custom website.

The gear is made in Pakistan.

I have to buy 3 pair of laceup gloves16 oz and 3 headgears very soon.
Would you go with UMA rt 4 and headgear r9, or with ring to cage c17 and their japanese style headgear, or saaba super soft?I need all this for sparring only.

Perhaps I may be able to shed some light for you.

The differences in price: one is listed in USD, the other website based out of Australia is in AUD (Australian dollars, so you will need to convert the currency.

Both items are made in Pakistan, and from my experience both have very good customer service.

I have 2 pair of RT-41's, which are very durable and very protective, and just ordered my first R9 headgear (of which durability and protection ratings would be very good as well).

From my experience owning both SABAS Supersoft and ProSeries (16 oz) as well as UMA, with all things considered (quality of the item, durability, protection, comfort, and price) I would "hands down" (or most definately) order from UMA. ;-)

Perhaps I may be able to shed some light on this question.

The differences in price: one is listed in USD, the other website based out of Australia is in AUD (Australian dollars, so you will need to convert the currency; both sell the same product (from what I was told from the Australian branch.

I own 2 pairs of RT-41's (16 oz lace up, 10 oz lace up), which are very durable and very protective, and just ordered my first R9 headgear (of which durability and protection ratings would be very good as well).

From my experience owning both SABAS Supersoft and ProSeries (16 oz) as well as UMA, with all things considered (quality of the item, durability, protection, comfort, and price) I would "hands down" (or most definately) order from UMA.

NOTE: my experience with Ring to Cage C17 has been better than SABAS (in terms of quality/craftsmanship of the item, not related to customer service) but unfortunatly I found my long fingers & thumbs reaching the end of the hand compartment thus making the moment of impact very uncomfortable... namely jamming thumbs/fingers.

You are very right about the info. And glad to know you like UMA gloves. You will definitely like UMA R-9 as well.

    Thank you for choosing UMA.
