Really not necessary to add that comment. This thread isn't a "this custom" is better than "that custom" thread. It is to showcase UMA's work. Not once in this whole thread has someone compared these to TB so lets leave it that way. Obviously different styles in glove making.

I haven't owned either but thats not the point. I equally admire both works. Until I own a pair of both I can't make a comment like that. Judging by your statement, you don't own UMA at all so how can you make a statement that these aren't comparable to TB? 2 totally different styles of gloves. Im not trying to bust your balls, but just comment on this thread for what it is. No need to chime in with "these don't look comparable to Top Boxer." How do you know these aren't comparable?? How do you know these don't perform just as well? You see what Im getting at?

Yeah, that metallic orange, silver and black looks amazing! They remind me of my old Raja gloves, but 10x cooler. I'm thinking of buying some new sparring gloves soon, and want to get an orange pair, but now I want metallic orange.

Thanks dc413! The color is actually copper with spackled silver and black.

I had never seen a spackled look before so i went with it, you can see it if u look at the pics uma posted.

And of couse rob im gonna be happy! I designed them but the guys at uma get all the credit they took what i had in my head and made it all happen.

I thought norwegian colors were Red white and Dark blue?

You know, I have no idea how can you say they "are 2 totally different style of gloves" if you haven't owned any of them. Above all how can those gloves be "completely different"? Both are custom gloves, that means custom padding. All I am saying is these UMA gloves currently have a typical Pakistani mass bulk order layered padding gloves cut + fancy colours + custom padding, while topboxers gloves (which I have owned) are quite a lot better tuned. I am not saying UMA are bad, come on some crappy gloves cost 100 bucks while here you can have good custom gloves, but at the same time considering what I see I must say this company is in its beginnings, topboxer is way further. Just my 2c

I can live with that opinion. Like I said I wasn't trying to bust your balls....perhaps I took it wrong. No harm no foul.
 
Having had both top boxer's and UMA's gloves, I can say. UMA custom gloves are far from your average mass produced pakistani gloves. The stitching on my gloves from UMA are perfect. Every pair of top boxer gloves I've had have had loose stitching. Top boxer/Bill charges extra for any kind of special leather. UMA doesn't and it's high quality metallic leather, neon leather, and I have gloves coming that are made with genuine patent leather. And UMA is less expensive. IMO UMA is a great product and less expensive. Top boxer makes a good product, no doubt, but to suggest that UMA is just another company is ridiculous.

Post some comparison pics. I think both make great looking customs. We are a lucky community to have these available to us.

I dont know why some guy out of nowhere(new account usually)always has to make everything a brand war regardless of what company it is. Quit trying to stir stuff up when there never was a need for people to take sides.

Tb nor uma have any sour relations towards each other. Both companies both are based out of Pakistan, both do outstanding work lets leave it at that.
