Ulka Sasaki?

What did everyone think of Sasaki's flyweight debut? Gates is nothing special but I thought Ulka looked pretty decent. Could be a decent prospect at 125lbs.

However. I'm all for individuality in MMA. I loved it when Dave Herman let his body hair grow out, looked like sasquatch in a pink scarf for his fight with Struve. I like weird haircuts.

But someone needs to tell Sasaki that 'Transexual Japanese Rent-Boy' is a dreadful, dreadful look and needs to stop NOW.

Lol at Japanese rent boy. He's a big guy for the class, clearly good grappling chops. Was impressed to see that was his 9th victory by way of rear naked choke . He's the Michael Chiesa of the flyweight division.

I tend to agree, but you have to remember the division is shallow. Not a lot of fighters like you mentioned in it lol.

Good grappler. Needs better cardio and also develop a striking game to mask his takedowns/not get KTFO

Fun fighter and good addition to FLW as long as teh weight cut isn't killing him

He is good at certain things. He has an unorthodox (from an MMA perspective) single leg, and strong back takes.

However, his striking is beyond sloppy, and as Issa showed, his BJJ is not elite.

Not even close to top 10 at 125.

Right now Ali Bagautinov is ranked 10th so that could be a good matchup.

Throw him in there against a guy like Ali Bagautinov or Zach Makovsky. I think those would get the job done easily. Or Fredy Serrano if you want a lower ranked dude.
