i think Latifi the most promising underdog

Askham T(KO) @ 6.00 is far too good to turn down and the most likely outcome in my opinion.
Ashlee Evans-Smith ITD @ 3.60
Lapilus 3rd round TKO @ 15.00
Wallhead @1.80 / within round 1 or 2 @ 3.75

Slightly tempted by Dalby KO @ 6.00 just because the karate styled kicks to the body he's landed before paired with the Noke body kick KO of Sobotta, will decide later.

Writers and analysts keep making it seem like Colombo had been inactive since 2013 all the while he's been doing kickboxing. It's not MMA but it's not like dude is going in cold or off long injury layoff...

That is true, but after watching his Kickboxing fights it actually made me back Danho even more.

He literally strikes like he is under water. Slow, telegraphed and not even packing that much power. Don't get me wrong, Danho is no top heavyweight and won't ever be but he looks to have more power, a better gas tank and a better ground game.

Both are poor fighters and I doubt I'll bet on it at all but Danho has to be favoured here.

I can't believe i'm doing this, but after seeing how slow Colombo is, I have to stab Danho KO +246.

Are people really backing Macedo or is this some sort of inside joke? I can barely follow these threads anymore.

It's not an impossible outcome but why do you think it's the most likely one? If Ashkam doesn't catch him with something big early on I have a difficult time seeing him finishing the fight...I don't think that either fighter gets finished actually, but if someone does get knocked out it's IMO Ashkam towards the end of the after being worn down by that jab

Just Connor Ruebusch and robbiedawg

I'm on her for 1u... She could outstrike her for a decision, could catch a sub. The judges will probably favor her. Evans-Smith doesn't have the best fight IQ. I see the paths. And she's a > +200 WMMA dog.

I honestly don't blame you guys at all. If Macedo wasn't so raw and small she'd definitely be worth a stab for me. I'll root for you guys, just have a feeling this is too much too soon and it'll be a frustrating lay and pray win for AES

Yeah, the lack of get-ups is the main concern. At least there seems to be 5x the chance of subbing from your back in WMMA, though.

I considered Hermansson a prospect before he signed with Bellator but he's never reached the potential I thought he had. Apart from Vemola I don't rate his opposition highly at all, Paraisy is okay but not that impressive. His performance against Alan Carlos was horrific, porous defence, got tagged by a fair few clean shots from a complete journeyman.

Both guys have good power but I prefer Askham's clinch work and power (I had done a breakdown before his fight with Antonio Dos Santos and predicted the finish with knees from the clinch). Hermansson like to come in with strikes and get out and although he will probably land some decent strikes early I can see Askham catching him in the 2nd or 3rd and finishing him.

no bet for me but def cheering for Macedo. She has swagger and is super hot. If she can string together a few wins she will be a great addition to the UFC roster.

However, as others have mentioned the size difference will catch up with you sooner or later. You can't keep fighting bigger fighters and win in the UFC.

The thing I am most excited for with this event? "Judo" Jim finally getting his shot in the UFC. Been a fan of him ever since his Bellator run and because of that I had to toss a unit on him SU and a unit on him ITD.

Small amount on parlay for fun:

Lapilus 3rd round KO @ 15.00
Ashlee Evans-Smith ITD @ 3.60
Wallhead in round 1 or 2 @ 3.75

£10 for £2025

Interesting. Thought as the boxing enthusiast you'd favor the guy with functional stand up (Herm) over the plodding dude whos stand up is very limited.

See the fight the complete opposite as your last sentence though. Askham slows and loses power while Herm picks up the pace and gets stronger as a fight goes on.

I think most of us just want to impregnate Macedo. Her beating AES is secondary to most of us ITT.
