Great to hear Hardonk saying he's a great judoka and wasn't using it - music to my ears. Ground this fucker Hein! In a way i am kind of glad he was injured i was worried a little that his long lay off may have been due to USADA.

Barnett - I asked for this fight, Arlovski is just as old as I am and he's been knocked out 12 times, he's probably even older, camp went fantastic, got more time with the training partners brought in, mind feels fresh, love the german air, I've been doing this for 20 years, I don't know how much longer I'll be doing this, I have to go implement my will against him, he's not someone to take lightly, I have ultimate faith, he's a cornered animal, I just think about winning, this is UFC vs. Pride, I want to challenge the guy that was once thought unstoppable

Sick that so many fighters on the card has so much ring rust

Yeah my biggest red flags were when he got tagged by Carlos and no footage of him vs southpaws. I've contemplated coupling this play with Askham round 1. Not ruling out Askham tagging him, but I don't think it will be easy. Askham was losing to Dempsey and Dos Santos before finding a first round power shot, and I think what helped him is both those guys are plodding. Hermansson strongly resembles Jotko in style and mobility on the feet, and before round 2 where Jotko looked more tired than i've ever seen him get in a fight, Askham wasn't looking good. Jotko's style made it hard for Askham to land anything clean at all in the contest, and I expect Hermansson to do the same.

I don't think it will be hard to jab Askham as long as he puts himself in the right position. If he pressures Askham to the fence he stands pretty erect, and I think Hermansson will be able to work his rhythm behind the jab from there. At range in the center think he has enough other weapons to chip at Askham.
 
Really struggling to find value on this card, maybe Danho vs Colombo doesn't go the distance @ -200? Ehh
 
i have to favour Barnett. Besides the Browne fight (i can't include the Silva fight Silva is a joke now) Arlovski has looked pretty bad since he returned to the UFC. Barnett is showing his age too but he's got a tough nut and outside of a KO i can't see how Arlovski wins this. If I'm up I'm sure i will throw some £££ on Barnett and I also like his r3 and r4 line.

Yeah neither guy was into it, Frank said the same thing. Didn't want to fight AA. But that said, I'd think that would more affect things like going for a finish or I suppose how much effort was put into training. For TDD the AA of the past would've probably laughed at the TD attempt of Mir and stuffed it with almost no effort. He just didn't seem to have the balance and lower body power to keep Frank off his hips and from getting to his back leg to trip him once Frank had ahold of the single. I think that's pretty telling, even in a fight where neither guy really wanted to be there. Esp given you know that AA 100% wanted that entire fight standing.

Fransisco Trinaldo
Ildemar Alcantara

Khabilov is the same type of fighter that can outwrestle and outgrapple Silva by being more active. Silva is not a fighter that's getting finished though, so really see alot of value in Khabilov DEC compared to his ML, even though I probably Parlay his ML

Khabilov dec probably the safest picks on the card
 
Overeem took Arlovski down woth very basic trip.Overeem has very good wrestling, but AA should defend that basic trip, he also got taken down by Schaub few times

The only difference is that Jotko was also a south paw, which I think is bad for Askham's style (he seems to love the opposite stance situation), and I believe Jotko is better than Hermansson. Hermansson isn't bad, I just think Jotko is pretty damn good.
 
Can't trust half the fighters on this card and add all that ring rust, its going to be one long difficult card.

Its definitely bad for Askham's style since he favor the left round kick so heavily. Jotko is better than Jack, but that was probably Jotko's worst performance. He has a tendency to make all his fights close, but he looked lethargic after round 1. Askham slows down himself. Jack, on the other hand, only gets stronger as a fight goes.

I just think barring a first round money shot for Askham, I don't see what he can do. His offensive tools are limited and the more time you give Hermansson the more he can use his pace, cardio, feints and diversity to figure you out and Askham is a very easy guy to figure out.

Maybe Askham's experience can help him outgrind Herm if he doesn't land the first round money shot, but idk. Herm has a solid greco game to negate Askham's thai clinch and outside of that Askham seems to only have an outside trip in his arsenal. At +270 i'm willing to take the chance when I slightly favor Herm dec as the fight's most likely outcome.

I think there is some value @ 1.714 - Have to put a couple of units on that one. I cap his winning a dec line @ aprox. 75%, and that is in the safer capping area spectrum IMO

He sometimes has the Sam Alvey tendency of staring at his opponent for too long while they chip at him which Ayari can definitely do, but at current odds think hes the right side. Should have the stronger grappling, should be able to land counters when Ayari lets his hands go, and if Wallhead backs him up to the fence think theres a strong possibility he lands that massive right and gets a KO
