Is anyone concerned that Roy defense isn't really that good? I mean, it hasn't cost him bc he's able to eat shots w that granite chin of his, but if BB can land a couple of big shots...
hope you are right. went a bit overboard when i saw him at -120 @ betsafe : not as much as Shambut got about 500$ on him with a little hedge on BB decision.. after thinking about it some more i regret thorwing down that much being HW's and Roy's age.. oh well ride or die

i think for once roy actually has the more technical standup. bb is more likely to get cracked first despite the reach difference.
feels surreal that this event is in less than 48 hours.. today feels like a monday.. usually fights on a saturday..
The thing I like the most are the tidbits of insight and info that you may not have known/forgotten that can really aid in making a decision. Perfect example is Reginaldo's training situation. I completely forgot on TUF Brazil when they profiled him he trained with very few people in his garage. Thats a redflag when Beltran spends time with AKA (had Javier Mendez in his corner vs Ning and I think vs Vera when I rewatched that too) and now is full time in Chicago training with Yair Rodriguez (another nice bit of info from them).Never heard of bookie beatdown, why do you like them so much Budden?
Most recent guys to finish Pyle are one of the best welterweight strikers in Jordan Mein, top WWs Matt Brown and Rory Mac, and 2010 Jake Ellenberger in the best form of his career. Mina finished short notice Shinsho Anzai, and a bunch of guys who are nowhere near UFC level (Sparv is good though). Are the numbers as important as the details? I hope notMan I want to fade Pyle's 40 year old chin but he impressed me with how game he was in his last fight and how he still had some killer instinct to finish in the third round. But he's been stopped in 9 of his 11 losses and Mina has finished 11 of his 12 fights (albeit against lackluster competion).
I wish price was just a little better on Mina itd. +180...meh.

Agreed, he's not. Mina's aggression and power are literally my only concerns, I'm very confident Pyle is the better fighter. I will say I thought Pyle had more composure in bad spots vs Spencer.Agree but if you watch those finishes Pyle is not reacting well at all to being stung. Add in that Mina looks pretty slick with his subs and he has multiple ways to finish. Of course the question will be if Mina is capable of putting Pyle in one of those spots where he's in trouble.
But...the line kinda sucks LOL. It's something I'd kind of LIKE to play but I just need better than +180 to pull the trigger.

Fair to like Mina win, but I think anyone who would hit that +180 is greatly misinterpreting the skills levels in this one in comparison to that line. Too lazy to check, but if you like Mina and want value id guess Mina round 1 would hold much greater value. Can't see Mina getting a finish past five mins, and both the stats and detail of studying Pyle show he's most vulnerable in the early stages of a fight.
