Possibly. I noticed his nipples looked funny as well.

I'd lean towards him not being on anything though, just cuz the UFC has pre-fight drug testing, and he came in on short notice. Coupled with the fact that he's a regional fighter, and he can't afford any expensive drugs that have a chance at passing a UFC drug test, imo.
