How's Court McGee's wrestling? Can he get to half guard? Cuz he'll get trapped in Saunder's rubber guard if he's unable to get to half guard. That's pretty much it when it comes to beating Saunders on the ground. I think McGee is a bit good at everything but not great at anything and he's got a good pace.

Standing they're both probably gonna get their licks on eachother. Pretty close fight to call. Leaning towards McGee but that dude prob ain't the same fighter as before coming off that long layoff and he's broken both his hands multiple times in his MMA career.

His wrestling is def good enough to take Saunders down (thats not saying much) but i'm not convinced he can pass the guard or Saunders can't quickly re establish guard if he does.
 
Yea I actually like saenz -142. He's a damned good wrestler , which means this fight should stay standing. Think Mendes is pretty darn bad on the feet.
 
Not sure if Rivera is in or out but he's -855 on 5d, lol.

I know BJ is the dog here and rightfully so. The tip toe BJ hasnt got a chance in this fight but we know BJ has the better ground game, better allround striking and Yair has huge gaps in his boxing defence. BJ has way more of a chance than 20% as the current odds imply. If the price reaches +400 for BJ, Ill have to take a punt. None of the other odds look particularly amazing at the moment.

No appetising dog odds aswell.

I like to donate money to the books to these types of causes for big dogs like that. Nobody deserves to be -500 in MMA unless you're a straight beast and Yair still is developing. He'll probably end up hitting BJ with some crazy spinning shit you didn't see coming but the price is worth the admission if you look at it like a gamble.
 
probably making a monster bet on Bj penn. thinking about betting 5k (never before bet more money on a single fight) on him... the odds are off. Ill keep you guys updated when I lock the bet.

Your normal bet is $300 and you are going to drop $5k on BJ Penn?
 
Down with all hitting BJ, but i'm personally waiting til fight week where he will hopefully do some media. Wanna hear some interviews and get a feel of where his heads at and if he learned from the tippy toes disaster.
 
i'm fine to throw a flyer on penn on those crazy odds. could be more than a flyer if i'm having a good night.

Both. I think odds should be about even tbh and Yes I actually believe Penn will win.
these elite skills that bj penn has dont disappear over night. i dont have much more to explain. 5k is my last years 6month profit. im not set for life but I have some free money to have fun with

There's nothing fun about losing $$$.

Just kidding. I think there could be some (small) value in BJ's line, but I'd be cautious not to go to big on someone teetering on the edge of retirement. Good luck though.
