Especially not believing BJ has a chance as he was just at Greg Jackson's months ago (maybe he's still there now even?).

Would Greg let Yair take this fight if he didn't like what he saw?

i think BJ has been with Jackson since around the start off 2016.. Yair is not training there for this fight.. not sure when he stopped training there

BJ has also been doing some work with Caceres hwo just fought Yair really seems like he has the best preparation possibly for fighting Yair.. lets see if its enough

Come on dodsin thats it! Hoping this happens rivera will be playable

Please make Dodson happen! I will play Rivera if this happens for sure

I won't be rushing to play Rivera against Dodson. Didn't he get wobbled by Munhoz?

yep. dont like dodson's low volume style here tho.
Rivera has never fought anyone who has anywhere near the power and speed of Dodson. Tough guy to fight on short notice. Dodson threw a lot of volume against Lineker as well.

yeah true but im big on rivera think hes a talent. i dont want to parlay him here tho id expect a price under -150 to be able to play him straight.

Not wasting time watching tape on dodson yet, will watch sergio to see how comfortable i feel playing him.

Moraga said he will probably quit if he loses this fight as he will get cut. I'm speculating here but he's prob taken this fight as he was unsure if he'd get another fight, so with his back against the wall he's kinda been forced to take it no matter what kind of shape he is in. He also said he's feeling old in the gym. Confidence increase Pettis. Moraga fought last time like he had one foot out the door too and like he didn't have much left to offer.

Moraga didn't seem like his heart was in it vs nicolau. Seems like that's his deal now.

im just watching tape. ive only watched moraga vs ortiz and dodson so far. if that moraga turns up i can't bet pettis to win but im hoping to see a drop off (i defo know we saw that last time out) in the coming fights.

I'd be on Dodson most likely vs Jimmy depending on odds. I like Rivera but he won't walk Dodson down like Lineker did (still thought Dodson won but whatever). Jimmy is content to fight a similar fight to how Dodson does. Jimmy probably with a bit more volume but I think Dodson's speed advantage gets it done for him.

It's crazy how Lineker ate flush head kicks and punches from Dodson who I think has the better power than TJ, but Lineker confirmed that he broke his jaw in the 1st against TJ fight off of a headkick.

You can never really gauge how a Lineker fight will go.

On the contrary, Lineker one of the easiest fighters to cap when he does the same thing all the time.

Also not surprised TJ broke his jaw. Dude has sick head kicks. Shame we won't see Lineker for a year now though

I get that it's easy to to cap when all he does is truck forward flat footed and predictable. I've made a lot of money from his previous fights too betting on and against him but I lost a lot vs Dodson and I just didn't get how he could eat those type of shots and still be standing. And then TJ cracks him.

It's not his fighting style that confuses me but my question is, how long can a guy fight the way he fights til he breaks? That's what hard to gauge for me. I honestly capped Dodson having a chance to finish him. Next time I bet on him not being able to get finished is the day he gets finished and his chin finally cracks. But it's been unreal so far.

TJ by decision would've been a top play for me but it was juiced and I have principles that I abide by when taking props so I ended up playing the o2.5 instead. Same principle saved me against Cruz I would've played Cruz by decision but I didn't like the price so I took the fight goes distance instead at a 30 PT difference.

^^nice work playing the "goes the distance" prop over Cruz....wish I did that *clenches fist in anger*

I am a bit concerned about Lineker after this loss. He relies heavily on just being durable (a la Homer Simpson). Just putting your head down and winging punches is great but that style of fighter won't age well.

Physicality aside, I think some of Lineker's strength is in his youthful naivete. Tough kids can just be confident and think no one can hurt them/beat them. Once you see that mental strength crack (ie mature) and he starts to physically show wear (ie broken jaw) it can be tough to recover from.

Don't get me wrong I do think Lineker can come back strong from this but his career will be short given his style. He needs to evolve his boxing a bit in the style of TJ if he wants to stay in there at 35+.

Lineker could be p4p toughest guy in UFC. The guy finishes the fight with a broken jaw and doesn't say "boo".

Props are out if anyone's interested. Got an idea of how I want to play the 3 available so far. Waiting to see if it gets better before I throw something on there.
