That was my play too for 3U. Confidence increase! Is there even a remote chance of a finish with ham Taylor? Ham is hamderlei
Ham is hittable and don't let her shitty debut against Moroz where she didn't throw a strike fool you, Taylor has power for a 115er. I'd still be very surprised if there's a finish though.

That's why I bet big on him against Hall. People thought because Hall landed that fluke kick on Mousasi it meant he suddenly had the capability of landing a perfect counter punch KO (something he's never even done before) on Brunson.

Brunson was the dog aswell. Easy money.

Hall has the skills of a pressure fighter but with the mentality of a counter striker. Its like he is stuck between a rock and a hard place. He gets caught thinking too much.

I like brunson a lot here. Hes faced better opposition and has his wrestling with fall back on. What does whit offer that brunson hasn't seen before? Going off memory, brunson has reach advantage. Only risks are brunson keeps chin high and am not sure of his fight iq. Iirc whit throws hooks

Also Brunson has only lost to the elite of the elite.

Yoel Romero and Jacare aint bad loses.

Is it a lie?

Who on this card can handle that left? These bums shouldnt even be fighting ffs. Scrap this card.
Richard Walsh would knock his head clean off.

As bad as it is, I'd rather have a shitty card than have a Saturday with no MMA. Lomachenko fight will be dope too. Cheer up brah.

I'd be smashing this line if it was 3 rounds, but I'm worried about his cardio in a 5 round fight.

I think the most likely outcome is a Brunson finish in the first 3 rounds. If Wonderboy can rock Whittaker, you bet your sweet ass Brunson can. He could wrestle > GNP too.

Defence is a huge issue for Brunson especially when he has an opponent hurt. Killer instinct is great and all but fighters like Almeida, in his last fight especially, show how you should finish a hurt opponent. Keep your wits and guard up. Mix shots up to the body and head and be on your toes.

Brunson also tends to overextend and throw arm punches when he hurts an opponent which was more apparent in the Smiling Sam bout. His chin touches the sky at these moments aswell.

If you like Whittaker in this bout, just LB after round 2 or 3. I expect Brunson to be up on those rounds if he has not finished him then. With that goodnight.

Come on man, don't do that in the betting subforum. This is where the educated fans post, and we were all doing so well today!

Kyle Noke (+175) vs Akhmedov and opened -120. Easy bet on Noke fighting in Australia.
I don't like Noke at all, just for value, line movement makes zero sense.

Fun Fact: The two times Noke was +160 in a fight was against Sobotta and Brenneman (won both by KO R1)

Noke always lets me down when I bet on him with that being said im gonna bet on him again. Last time probably

I'm starting out with 1u and gonna go all in on meunier to either double my bankroll or be done early.

If he wins the only other 2 people I'm betting are tuck and Brunson

I'm not fuckin with anyone else

I'll take the Walsh/Meunier over at evens... Walsh is no danger to finish and he has drastically improved his grinding ability recently, so it should be a close fight. He just needs to get past the halfway point and I think this over is pretty safe. Meunier is massive for the weight class and has a very energy inefficient style.

Whittaker is a much more disciplined fighter than Brunson.

Straight punches over wild hooks any day.

Only thing Brunson has for him here is the wrestling, size and power.

With that said, I think Brunson wins this and finishes Whittaker in three.

Kinda why I said I don't like the way Brunson leaves himself open.

But it's working for Brunson. And he smashed Hall with that primitive style when many thought Hall would expose him.

Also saying the only things a fighter has over another is wrestling size & power is like saying the only thing George Clooney has over me is Looks Money & Fame. Those are 3 God Damn good things to have over another fighter.

They are not the type of strikers that can take advantage of Brunson's basic ass hooks. Its like he even forgets the basics and blacksplosively fires away hooks without any regard to his chin being high.

Let him try that against seasoned strikers like Mousasi.

Whittaker certainly has the straight punches to put him down.

No one is arguing your points. We even talked of it a page or 2 ago.

Brunson is there to be exposed. Not a news flash. But some of us would like a better price on Whittaker because we don't think he's the man to probably do it

Yeah, Noke fights way better in Australia... and he is underratedly dangerous. Just a lot of really nice straight shots in his striking arsenal. All that, and Akmehdov loves to find ways to lose fights. People used to assume he was a striker, but I think his opponents now realize that he's more of a lay and pray artist. Have two units already on Noke and loving it.
