How the hell could you give Hafez R2? He took a lot of damage in that round.

He was also the biggest favourite on the card fighting a guy making his UFC debut. He's got that 2-1 but given a lot of the hype I've been seeing on here for him I didn't see any reason for it tonight. Not being able to prepare and having to cut weight isn't an excuse for the fight IQ lol

He didn't make his own odds. You're going to fault him for the line? Lol. He created his own hype? He shows up and fights, the hype a byproduct. Yeah, he could have made better decisions, but I thought that was a clear as day win for him. He did all the damage in R2 and won half the round. R3 could he seen as a 10-8.

Underwhelming performance by JDM given the expectations but with 2 weight cuts in 2 weeks I think he deserves some slack. Hafez was very impressive though, I think he'll do great with a full camp.
