Haven't heard much news lately.

Probably waiting for after UFC 200 to announce it..

I hope they don't sell to be honest..The devil you know is better than the devil you don't..

It's no longer for sale because it's already sold.

One reporter (Botter) said the deal was agreed to weeks ago.
Others (Meltzer, Rovell, etc.) said they are still deciding which bidder

@FrankieNYC is our resident expert on it. He posted a thread about it a day or 2 ago.

(edit: haha... Frankie... you beat me to it by 1 second!)

i dont care anymore.

FTR ... if UFC does announce a sale in a week (or so) that does not mean Botter was correct.
He was only correct if they agreed to the bid weeks ago (which several sources said as of Wednesday was not the case)

That's a little grey area there though.

It may not had been signed... but maybe they verbally agreed. I don't know though... but it seemz like if the UFC doez make that announcement... I ain't tryin' to take that away from Botter.

There'z no real way to confirm anyway the exact day they knew who waz going to get it.

How does this work? I mean can the new owner change everything to be a milk company cause he yearns for the day when milk men made door to door deliveries so all the UFC fighters become delivery men cause they're strong and can lift heavy milk crates?

That's a funny thought... but I gotta think the contracts say something about fighting. Maybe they can fight the other milk company reps!

Most likely there will be some major cross promoting going on though. A company can save mass bucks in advertising with the UFC for free if they own the UFC.

Yep ... a lot of people think Botter jumped the gun on purpose so he can say "I told you so" if they go with the bidder he says
If not he can come up with some story that the deal fell through at the last minute

It just seems weird that after he said the deal was agreed to that the guys with inside info were still hearing the exact opposite - it has been almost 2 weeks now.
In other news, if Ariel breaks something, guys like Meltzer look into it & confirm his info & adds to it.
This time its the opposite.

Everything's for sale for the right price.
