News UFC signs undefeated multiple time ammy world champ Mo Mokaev

Very interested to see how Mokaev does in the UFC. He's obviously still growing as a fighter, but he's shown holes in his game from his pro fights so far. The thing with those faults is he just takes people down and dominates them so they don't have enough chance to exploit those weaknesses. Don't know if he'll get away with that in a stacked division like bantamweight.

He's been competing at flyweight lately. He shows as a bantam on Tapology as his last fight with Blaine O'Driscoll was at BW but they're both flys, they just didn't cut as much.

the UFC killed my love for scouting.
Now I just get depressed knowing none of the talent or scouting actually matters.
I actually enjoyed searching for that killer in the lower leagues, now I don't carry as much passion any more, as TS does. I'm unsure if it's the UFC's fault or my lack of love for the game? I'm still the "I gotta watch every card" guy, I just don't find myself scouring as much as I used too.

Ah really? From what I seen of him in amateurs and pros he's been at bantamweight, but if he can get down to flyweight safely then I think he's definitely got more chance in that division.

same here, I think its because there used to be way more time between the top events and i still needed my fix. these days theres something good on almost every weekend. now im spoiled and lazy.

Does this signing take up part of the UFC's Russia quote, or are they going to market him as a brit?

I actually think this is a bit too soon. Humongous amounts of potential but he's 21 and has only been pro just over a year.

He did go 23-0 as an ammy though, winning the IMMAF a few times, so he has that going for him.

I'll fucking love it if him and Jake Hadley ever have an all English title fight though.

He is signed to Conor management Paradigm, khabib and crew don't like him but he sucks up to khamzat

Stop saying this dude isn’t English! We need to up the quality, turn a blind eye if we get a few ringers in please. He’s as British as Wetherspoons.

He's more English than Greg Rusedski at least.
