Young, undefeated, well rounded, former Bellator champ.

Russian. They don't fuck around.

I think he could eventually become the champ in the UFC too.

I don't know whether he's under contract w/ Fight Nights Global at the moment?

He got a nice first round armbar just a while ago.

He would make some of the aging competitors in the top 10 look like they don't belong there for sure.

Man he just schooled Graham easily. Nice showcase win for Minakov.

If he's the cream of the crop, then he belongs in the UFC. They eventually end up here anyways :)

Said a long time ago that with a little better cardio, Minakov is the best heavyweight in the World. He would thrash most of the UFC heavyweight division regardless. Sign him, line em up, and let him mow em down...

Dude is undefeated and still relatively young. Sure, he's fought a lot of cans, but I think he would fit well in the UFC.

Anyone know why he hasn't yet been signed?

I could be wrong but I think he's still under contract with Bellator... They just stripped his title.

Didn't he have Visa issues for the last few years and that's why Bellator stripped him? Probably something to do with all that.

He's still under contract with Bellator. They allowed him this fight while he still works out visa issues.

He is still under Bellator contract.

Guy is amazing. He can do it all and does not take risks. Goes straight for the easiest finish.

Solid chin, heavy hands and amazing grappling and submission game. Has not fought the best but he is like 18-0 as HW and he is beating good journeymans.

His cardio and striking defense are clear flaws IMO.

And Ivanov also if he looks good tonight. That other russian im not too sure about.

I am impressed with current russian fighters. They are killers. While we are at that lets also steal Koreshkov from bellator.

Thought he looked very impressive alright. But like someone above said, he might not want to fight in the UFC. If EFN maintains the level it's currently at, it's a very viable option for Russian fighters just to stay at home and fight there.

All you 14 yr old's have have Michael Goldgberg-level technical knowledge of anything MMA, boxing, judo, wrestling, et al.

Fedor looked slow? Fedor is shit this and shit that and a joke today?

Look you little peons... Fedor looked sharp, fast and explosive until Moldanado hit him with a solid as **** left hook counter right on the *****'ng buttom coming in as there has ever been in MMA. Evidently no one watched the replay or just conveniently doesn't mention that one single shot put Fedor in lalaland unable to defend the TD or smashing on the ground very much.

It was one solid awesome punch and being near-defenseless getting pounded as a result that made Fedor look slow, wobbly & not great for the rest of the fight... NOT how he came into the the fight you pubescent idiots.

How good, fast, accurate did Mark Hunt or JDS or Werdum or Arlovski look after getting hit on the *****'n button with a super-solid KO-level shot when they went down??? You're all goofs.

How many of those guys have fought as good a boxer & counter puncher as Moldanado all you 14yr old MMA experts? Anyone will virtually always go down hard and is loopy and unable to defend themselves for a while a. If any UFC HW survived that and get's back up... any one!... is going to look wobbly. slow, gassed and a fraction of what they are.

Maldanado's face looked every bit as bad as Fedor's... He was beat the **** up too. Then, you all give Fedor zero credit for fighting his way out of that terrible predicament to come back in the next rounds beating Maldonado on the feet and making his face look like a pizza. how many UFC fighter's have we seen do that from that loopy, off ballance and unsure footed? GTFO.

Fedor lost the first round terribly. His output and scoring to Moldanado's face are very evident for the next 2 rounds and Moldonando did little offensively. If that was any UFC fight people would have shit if Moldonando got the victory after his opponent out-offensed him in the next 2 rounds.

I will agree the way the fight went for Fedor did not look good as far as the UFC wanting to sign him now. But if any UFC HW gets hit with that same super-solid left hook bomb from Moldonado they are going down and are going to be just as defenseless with birds flying around in their head on their back getting smashed. One single perfect counter punch to the chin from one of the best boxers ever in MMA and they all look Fedor did in that 1st round no matter how in their prime they are.

I hope Fedor does retire. He has nothing to prove. Especially to all you 14yr Dana White fans, Fertitta fans and UFC "only"" fans.... NOT MMA fans, and there is a huge ****'n difference!
He didn't look sharp compared to his pride days. He seemed slower and showed less power. Also he used to mix striking with grappling. Now he had to change he style, maybe for good in a more Muay Thai oriented way. But he still throw his arms like when he used to mix it, but without mixing it.

If tonight Fedor would have fought Schilt he would've been Ko'ed. Same with Hunt. He fought like a grappler who learned to strike but kept bad habits without following with grappling techniques. He regressed a lot on that sense
