It's a *win win* situation for them.

Ex-UFC fighter loses = Uncle Dana is a genius.

Ex-UFC fighter wins = UFC unwanted scraps >>>>> anything out there.

Let them troll on, they get paid for it.

MMA fans are the real winners with more talent being spread.

Benson is still tough as shit. Andrey is just talented as shit and much bigger.

Just laugh off these troll posts.

It always happens with competing organizations.. EliteXC being the first MMA show on National Television. TROLL ON. Strikeforce having a bunch of talent and great fights...TROLL ON....same stuff, until UFC buys Bellator or something.

If worldwide forum was to be believed 90% of sherdoggers get paid by the UFC to post...

There are always going to be troll posts, always. But this whole, everyone is a shill thing that pollutes the WW forum is just sad. Go to the heavies, there is constant hate for Dana, the UFC, Joe Silva. You guys act like no one ever dislikes anything the ufc ever does. Trolls fill the heavies just as much as they do here. Right now there are a shit ton of people mad at the UFC because of the whole Conor situation.

In before I'm a shill getting paid to post...wonder what that pays

Benson is clearly a natural LW. Not sure how this is an argument for Bellator fans lol. UFC has the best fighters and it's not even an arguement.

Oh give me a break, you were just shilling the fuck out of Conor in the "Conor vs Brooks" thread. If Brooks beat Conor, would you save this lame argument for that as well?

There's no doubt that the UFC's roster as a whole far outclasses Bellator's. But when it comes to individual fighters, it isn't so cut and dry. Eddie Alvarez is fighting for the UFC title soon, and Koreshkov showed he is legit. For sure his weight advantage loomed large in this fight, but he exploited that advantage really well and definitely made a name for himself by beating Henderson. He'd be a lot of fun to see in the UFC WW division.

But yeah, Benson doesn't seem like he has much of a future at WW. He may be slowing down a bit for LW too.

Wait, you don't get paid to post?

What does shilling even mean in this context? Thinking that McGregor beats Will Brooks is a long way from being a shill. If Brooks were to beat Conor, that would make him wrong, not make him a shill.

Just earlier today you posted:

Bellator's WW division isn't too great. Koreshkov and Lima are 2 guys that are susceptible to takedowns.. I could see Benson winning these fights handily.

So obviously seeing him murk the hell out of Bendo does mean something. This wasn't the usual close point split decision loss Benson is suspect too, it is the must dominated he has ever been for an extended period of time. Just because Askren can take someone down doesn't mean another fighter can do the same we learned tonight, The Funk is special and hard to prepare for with standard TDD lessons.

I see what you mean but that's not what I'm saying at all. I do believe Conor has a chance at beating Brooks, just not a good one. He was only picking Conor solely on the basis that he is a "UFC fighter".

Here's the thread I'm talking about.

UFC appologizers and haters make it look like mma is all about UFC only

You think shit is tough and talented? omg

No, I wouldn't have the same argument, because Conor could very well be a natural LW. Benson looks comically small at WW.

I think it's good for the fighters, but It's way better for the fans to have all of the top talent under one roof. It kind of sucked having shit split up between the UFC and Pride then UFC and Strikeforce back in the day. In the end it turns into boxing's format. Look how long it took to make the Mayweather Pac fight; or I wonder how long GGG vs Canelo is going to take to book.

The facts are the UFC has most of the best fighters, not all though, we've seen guys from Pride, SF, and WEC win titles. These are facts but not even an argument, Bellator is getting there, and their best guys can compete in and with the UFC elite. I'm not so sure why Bendo getting tossed in a weight class above his natural weight does anything for either rosters legitimacy, we know both promotions have their top guys.

Off subject, I really enjoyed the event last night, it seemed more legit than the past few Bellator events as in there weren't any has been names being heavily promoted, it was a good night of fights. I actually watched most all of Bellator over some of the playoff hockey games, that's telling to me that they really are getting my interest around.
