Who knows. We won’t know until he faces tougher opposition. Did you see Doumbé’s last fight? I thought he looked good and showed a well-rounded and improved game. His opponent obviously wasn’t a world beater, but still.Doumbe is another good one, they will probably sign him. I don't personally have much interest in Doumbe though, he cannot replicate what Pereira did as manufactured as it was. WW isn't a thin division nor is it devoid of strong grapplers...its filled with them. If he takes to MMA well, best case scenario is probably him being a "fun" fighter, but still a great signing. Imagine Doumbe vs Khaos Williams.
Yeah, Lazy King and Doumbe are probably the most obvious ones. Baki I expected to see on the contender series but they might just sign him to the the Paris card if they're going that way around the same time. Oumar Sy is one of many KSW fighters I'd like to see the UFC sign along with Salahdine Parnasse but they'll have to pay real sums for those guys, I don't think KSW let's go of their talent easily. French MMA is getting a lot better.
You going to this event?
I forgot about Lapilus, he was scheduled to fight Taha last September! Here is what we have a chance to see.
Fiorot for the title in main event
Gane vs Aspinall, biggest european fight to make atm
Return of Taylor Lapilus
Debut of Cedric Doumbe and Lazy King
Debut of Baysangur "baki" Chamsourdinov, not very likely, but Baki vs Doumbe would be absolutely wild in the crowd, people's main event
Benoit St Denis vs Paddy (very low chance of Paddy taking that fight though)
I don't think contracts really start until you make your first fight.I forgot about Lapilus, he was scheduled to fight Taha last September!
He’s still under contract?

Absolutely man.Awesome, crowd was incredible last time. Please no Gane in the headliner though, guy needs to take a back seat for a while.

You were also in attendance?

Once in the UFC, you can afford to lose one fight, if the opponent is good and you have good performance. See for exemple Pavlovich or St Denis.I doubt they'd debut Doumbe against Baki, they'll want to build Doumbe and Baki would absolutely dogwalk him.

Frankly I am not convinced at all Baki would wreck Doumbe. Doumbe has developed a very good anti-wrestler style, he has legit "fuck you" power in both hands, and a huge reach advantage over Baki. Baki is a genius in greco/judo, a competent and tough boxer and a relentless grappler but he has never faced anyone close to Doumbe on the feet.
Very intriguing matchup.
Ramzan Jembiev's MMA record is not UFC worthy yet, but he would be also an interesting prospect that I would expect to see in the UFC in the future. He also has a huge following on social media for a guy at the beginning of his career.
