News UFC PPV's to now be $74.99 USD

following orders? are you an idiot? i just said i'm for fighter pay. all i'm doing is trying to educate you dumb yokels on what you should actually be focused on. but keep being an ignorant dummy, and you keep fighting whatever futile fight you think you're fighting.

you think it's because i love Dana but it's really because Dana isn't the problem. it's the gigantic media conglomerate that owns UFC and Dana, he's just a puppet. wake your back water ass up and realize what's going on. wall of text? you must type just as slow as your brain thinks.

You've put far too many words in other people's mouths. I haven't said or done anything except observe your bitching and moaning about people criticizing Dana and the UFC. You do sound hilariously confused about how the UFC, ESPN, and the "gigantic media conglomerate" operate together though.

More walls of text and tears please from my sweet little bootlicker. Follow my orders like a good boy.

Endeavor sweating their debts big time and squeezing UFC for all it's worth.

@Pancake Sprawl is right. Eveyone is all 'Dana this!' and 'Dana that!'.. he's a president, a figurehead and has ZERO bearing in pricing fuck all. It's WME/ESPN and corporate thst is doing this. Period. They are in the business of making money and reducing debt, not being benevolent about fighter health or pay.
People here need to get a clue - while Dana is no saint at all, he's way out of the loop regarding PPV costs, fighter base pay, or any of the other myriads of shit he's blamed for. Blame WME.

It’s coming our way though

Where is your evidence of any of this?
He's happy to speak directly to Jake Paul regarding fighter pay, hence he's happy to take responsibility for it.

It's called common sense. Do you think the president of a company has any major bearing on the CEO/Boards of Directors/shareholders of their respective company? Come on, man.

So ESPN might be benefitting from this and it's not just all about paying off debt? You might want to mention that to your bud.

You guys are also completely nuts if you don't think Dana is involved in any of it. He's even said in the past he works closely with ESPN on all decisions. Of course that's not something any of us can prove so it's pointless. At the end of the day though, Dana was a big part of doing this deal and wanting this model so don't be too soft on him.

Not necessarily being soft, but I think the majority of this is on WME rather than Dana.

I bet that at least 30 cents of that hike is going to the fighters. So if you support fighter pay increases, keep buying ppvs

It's possible, it's hard to say anything with certainty. I'm not going to pretend like I know the inner workings of everything. I do think people are ignoring ESPN in all of it though. They also have their own media conglomerate to deal with ;)

Yeah, I don't really think these cards are worth that, outside of the stacked ones. And this is coming from someone who buys pretty much every PPV. But I have to draw the line somewhere.

Same here. I'll either be at the bar or...river-nature.gif

Agreed. Thanks for meaningful discussion, and not being a jerk ;)
We can agree to disagree, sherbro. Cheers!

I remember ordering Pride's Shamrock-Frye PPV for $20. K.Shamrock-Ortiz might have been the same, or was maybe $30. I tapped out on these prices a long time ago.

Yes, he actually has a lot of knowledge of the goings-on of the company, I doubt board meetings would involve fighter pay.
BTW, Elon Musk is on the WME board,.wtf.
