News UFC PPV's to now be $74.99 USD

the best thing about all of this was spending most of last year reading bleeding heart sherdoggers moaning and groaning about fighter pay and then reading a thread like this where 1/3rd of you steal the service and act like you're big supporters.

We found Dana

We found Dana
Lol like how much off the fan base is actually sherdoggers or hardcores? Like 5% or so. We are definitely not the people who Dana and the UFC are banking on buying PPVs. It's the casuals who still get excited to see McGregor, Diaz bros, Masvidal, etc fighting.

The fact that journeyman and split machine Masvidal became a fan fav is truly amazing for me remembering his strikeforce and bellator run.

LMFAO WTF buys UFC PPV's when you have tons of stable free Live HD streams all over the internet. When the UFC decides to be like other Orgs and professional sports teams and does a 50 - 50 split of total revenue with its fighters I wouldn't mind paying whatever the price. Since UFC currently keep 80-85% of total revenue due to Dana and UFC owners are greedy MF's they can take that $74.99 USD and stick it right up ****####.

I UFC committing fraud on their books? Because I don't know how they are getting revenue on those prices. The sport is still somewhat niche and ain't exactly high-brow, joe blow is not going to be paying those prices for so little value.

We need to teach casuals how to stream immediately. Every mainstream attention fight, send your casual buddies a link.

nothing will change unless the buys start tanking, and the only way we can do that is to help people take advantage of the World Wide Web

This is too much… as a Canadian I’m upset because that’s a lot of $$$… don’t get me wrong, I’ll still pay for McGregor, Michel, Yan, Diaz, jones, Masvidal, Colby…. But yes I’m angry

Shit, I can buy 5 12-packs of Sierra Nevada for that. No thanks.
Or two 12 packs and two plots of land in Scotland that carry Lordship. Then tell Sierra Nevada that you are a Lord and are a fan of their brews. That should get you at least three more 12 packs, probably a lot more than that. Then sell one of the plots and you've gotten all your money back, plus some. You'll also have plenty to drink for the next few events.

There are probably a lot of other perks to becoming royalty, but that's a good place to start.

out of control. it was overpriced at $50.

I live in Australia and still pay around 50-60 AUD per PPV, 75 USD in AUD is 105, never would I pay that much. I'm happy to pay for a good event, but I think 65AUD would be absolute tops for me before I'd go back to illegally streaming. I've had shit experiences with illegal streams, always full of pop ups , spam chat and gets choppy during the big fights when its loaded with traffic.
