It's fight worth watching and a couple decent ones underneath but it's a lite appetizer to what's to come for the summer months.

what is happening with the UFC - apex, unknown ladies main event , no crowd.. ?

It is called meeting the demands ESPN has on them for cards.

At times things don't line up great for various reasons and the UFC just more or less says, screw it and rolls with what they got.

Hes not even a casual. Maycee Barber is like the prototypical top 5 most known female to casual audiences. She has been pushed by the UFC as this wonderkin.... But she aint
