New rules open up more subjective scoring. It's bullshit. I despise it. No one in their right mind should give a fighter a 10-8 for positional control without damage or multiple locked in submissions. I've seen these idiots give a 10-8 for a round like that third one when the same refs on the same card gave a guy a 10-9 despite scoring three knockdowns in a prior round.

I missed what the scores actually were but I agree. I think it backfired quite a bit from the spirit of the rule.
