In the prefight arena interview on UFC's YouTube w/Megan Olivi, GSP said he was there to meet friends and planned that ahead of time before the Nate fill in.

He stays retired. Or maybe Robbie. He's still a go at 200 I guess. Not so sure if they want Conor headlining now coming off a loss like this.

McGregor vs. St-Pierre still does an incredible number, probably record-setting. St-Pierre losing to Serra was a far bigger upset, and St-Pierre only snowballed to becoming a bigger star afterward.

McGregor already had two losses coming into the UFC. As long as he can talk up a fight and be the huge Irish megastar, that's all he needs. He's still the featherweight champion too.
