With that said I know people who've made GREAT money on sports betting, my older brother made over $10K last year.

Look how long it took after Jordan to find another superstar to be the face of the NBA. And that league throws 10X the money at an athlete the UFC does. Most of these fighters are one knockout or one positive drug test away from disappearing from the public eye. That business model is too dependent on personalities and doesn't have the capital to attract enough of the right personalities for revenue growth.
