News UFC Miami Tickets are selling for minimum of $2K

I’m from Chicago. I was genuinely curious what you didn’t like about Miami. Thank you for sharing!

When I moved from Chicago to LA I had the same experience. People in Los Angeles didn’t have that “Midwest drive”. I hate to say it, but people felt lazy and like they expected everything to be handed to them. I met a lot of folks who were career driven to a fault in the sense that they would step on you and not even bat an eye.

I lived most of my adult life in New York City. NYC has character and different flavors. Miami does not. Now I’m a digital nomad and bounce around working remotely.

They've priced the real fans out

Screw that. My last ufc was in Seattle for the stacked Fox 5. I paid around $327 for floor seats 12 rows back. I’ll never pay these new prices.

I was shocked when I saw the prices for ufc 287. I'm from Germany and happen to be in Miami while Ufc 287. Tickets Minimum 500 dollars, do you guys think there will be any chance to get them for around 200 the day of the fight in the Arena?

Watched Adesanya vs Romero live in 2020 in Vegas and I paid 150 dollars. 500 is just crazy. Would be a pity to miss a chance like that but 500 ain't worth it

Got two decent tickets, 600 a piece, which is more than I've ever spent to go to a ufc event. Can't wait though! Anyone know of any decent bars to hit up before the card begins?

It's supply and demand. When they only bring 1 show a year to a place people are going to spend a year's worth of event prices in one shot. It's like bringing the NFL to Europe for one game. The wait list is insane b/c it's their 1 chance to watch a game the whole year.

Good thing we are all chief brain surgeons and could buy the UFC if we wanted...

as fighter pay weeps ...

the ufc must be broke

Attended GSP vs Jake Shields in Toronto.
Paid under $100. Yes it was nosebleeds, but that is less than $70usd.

Never would attend a UFC live ever again.

Amateur local events are infinitely better.

HD cameras ruined the live experience.
Judges can't see, fans can't see, end up watching a cameraman's ass or a giant screen.
Watching at home is like attending the cinema, for free.

I know a guy who gets into every ppv ringside for free as press. He works for a local News station but he's not an anchor or anything like that, but he gets into the press area all the time. It's at a certain popular venue in the USA. Not MSG, but I'll leave it at that. If you're crafty you can get in free.

You would have to pay ME that much to go to a live UFC event. Nobody I've known who has been has enjoyed it. I'll stay at home where I can actually see what's going on in the cage and save 6 billion dollars on the tickets and 2 beers.
Best seat in the house sherbro!

drug money and 'fake it till you make it' guys leasing exotic cars while living in a studio apt.

just stream. better view. can use your own toilet and eat your own food. tab out to the forums.
"your own food and drink and smoke" is super key here. I have still gone to the live events when in Toronto or Mtl, but arena food and alcohol is nasty shit.

It works every time.

The people checking tickets inside the venue at the entrance to the section are not trying to do a security screening, if they even look at the tickets at all, they see the correct section number and wave you in.

California is a real paradise let me tell you... Miami isn't far behind.

We visited my wife's childhood best friend in San Fran, she married a trust fund baby and they live in a $2.5million house.

It had bars in the windows.

They insisted that we park in the garage because even while visiting during daytime hours it was not safe to leave the car outside.

Lovely neighborhood.

UFC in Vegas has become significantly more expensive since then. I looked at the UFC 285 prices since I was in Vegas and they were like $350 USD for the 'cheap' nosebleeds in the T-mobile arena. I passed.

The press tent for Jones/Gane was outside the arena gong off Jamee Lynch was saying. Not even inside the fucking arena lol

It really is.When I see pics of fighters at or near ringside I think,"Damn it looks like you can barely see what's going on even that close". Dana probably doesn't even comp their beer, so I'm still doing better staying home.
