After Shevchenko VS Cachoeira, Sean Shelby again misclicked something on his free matchmaking app while taking morning dump.

Sergio Pettis #5, lost UD to Henry Cejudo #2 in December. So why don't match him against #1 Benavidez (who in his last fight beat Cejudo btw) this time.

I'm not saying Pettis will not take it, he has some chance as Benavidez is coming from long lay off, but idea is pretty dumb.

There are matchups that I think are matched up randomly, like that:

Most thought Cejudo beat Benavidez.

Benavidez has had a massive layoff.

Who really cares.

I remember hearing that Rhonda Rousey could clear out that division anyway.

Joe B is coming off of a long layoff, had ACL surgery, and is nearing the end of his career.

Sergio is a young fighter the promotion hopes to push later on, despite his shortcomings against Cejudo, Benoit, etc.

They're praying that Sergio wins this.

Eh, doesnt make sense in MMAth sense but Joe said he wants anyone in the top, and I'm sure Sergio wanted a fight that would get him right back into contention.

Who cares who Pettis fights he's terrible, he's only around because he showtime's bro and Benavidez needs a cantender to get back to form.

Benavidez wrestles him to a UD. It's gonna look like the Pettis v Cejudo fight.

Benavidez has been out a long time and didn't look good in his last fight with Cejudo.

Was gifted that win, I didn't even think he won a round.

Just got that feeling Sergio's gonna get it done.

The fact that Pettis is ranked #5 shows how ridiculously weak the flyweight division is.

Even though I thought Cejudo won 29-28, I still saw a game Benavidez who would very likely defeat someone like Sergio Pettis.

The layoff might be a sizeable factor, but I wouldn't feel comfortable betting money on a unknown like that.

Oh i'd never bet money on it. I'm not a gambler.

Hoping Sergio learned alot in that Cejudo fight and can keep this one on the feet.
