Ali was a prick in his prime. All the mean spirited shit Conor told Khabib in the buildup, Ali did 10× worse to Frazier and Terrell.

And he cheated on all his wives + married an underage girl. People don't like to talk about it but it's true.

His political "principles" is what got him love actually.

As a side note , it's a bummer how Ali dropped those principles to the wayside later in life. I forget who it was but he got influenced by this figure that made him totally go back on all the things he stood for.

I look up to fighters for their athletic achievements with all the skill and dedication and sheer primal human will that it takes, but looking to them for a consistent world view or moral compass is hubris/breeds ignorance more often then not, even with Ali.
 
The interns who run these socials probably are kids who don't know the history of the sport. That's why you see Conor and Khabib on there.
