What he did makes no sense. He doesn't even have a fight scheduled yet, in a few days, he won't even be the #1 HW on the planet anymore. Specially if Jones wins. UFC will win money the same way as usual, the only people that got punished for his decisions are the fans. And the "fighters" did not benefit at all by him claiming he was leaving for their rights and behaving like a martyr. This just makes no fucking sense at all.

Exactly!!! That type of fight require boxing and UFC machine working together, Ngannou could had a huge offer from Fury...as a UFC champ and all that comes with, as of right now all he has its a trophy, not even access to his highlights for promotional purposes, whatever the UFC offered is more than his current $0 offers.

I'm not ok with that, this is about Ngannou. I always give them shit for how they treated DJ and Romero. But Ngannou brought everything he is getting on himself the way he behaved.

I'm more hurt they call Volk and Holloway the FW GOAT without mentioning Aldo's name.

The UFC shames their own guys for turning down fights, Dana used to slander DJ at all times.

The UFC will do anything to potentially create more money and more hype and not mentioning that Ngannou is better than Gane is going to make the fight bigger.
 
Did Ngannou get conned by Jake Paul claiming to make millions in his fights and he thinks he can do the same?

You’re putting me in a bad position by having to defend the UFC, which I typically avoid doing at all costs, but it just doesn’t make any sense for them to promote Ngannou in any facet, right now.

Maybe if Ngannou had left years ago, but their “feud” is still fresh and he’s currently attempting to negotiate a boxing deal. The UFC can’t be promoting him in any way. If Ngannou lands a big boxing deal, it sets a horrible precedent for them(which I disagree with, since I think fighters should be free to do whatever they want, but still) since the UFC’s business model is heavily reliant on making the fighters dependent on the brand.
 
Dustin Johnston was the 9th best golfer in the world when he moved over to LIV. Is it strange to OP they don't mention him anymore in the PGA or does it just make perfect sense not to promote someone else's product?

They are not "promoting" Francis, just providing the context of why this fight is happening and of Cyril's title opportunities before this one and why he is the #1 contender.

Everyone watching that video knows who Francis is and that he left without losing the belt, including him would not promote him in any way, this is just the petty shit they have done time and time again of trying to delete people Dana is beefing with.

Yes and no, Jake Paul might inflate his numbers, but he is still the one putting the event together not the one being brought in, he owns the promotion like all major names in boxing.
