Nope, he's trained at ATT before

Brother professional athletes are that. Professional. As in getting paid. Floyd Mayweather was a great fighter who made more money than anybody in history. Canelo is doing the same. Everybody wants to make fucking money. It’s not complicated.only the hungriest people who actually want to fight will show up
also being a good wrestler doesnt mean you will be a good mma fighter, its not for everyone.
nobody had to try to bribe the great D1 talent that naturally gravitated towards mma
fighters fight, this kid is better off in wwe, if he wanted to fight, he'd fight regardless
this isn't a career or opportunity, real mma fighters live it. this is their whole life.

MMA
Boxing
Golf
Tennis
Football
Basketball
Whatever. Pay me
Boxing has tons of stories of fighters that came up with nothing, but once put in a position of prominence were all about big paydays. Everybody wants to make a lot of money. At the end the day the UFC simply doesn’t offer that. How many guys have actually gotten rich in the last 20 years fighting in the UFC? I mean seriously majorly rich? Let’s name them?yeah, in all those sports you play for free for a long period of time before being paid
in mma if you're coming from high level wrestling and are a talented fighter, it would be a short amateur career of a few fights or straight to the pros and fight regionally for 2-5 fights before the big leagues call
like I said, those that are interested in fighting, fight
other wrestlers have done it.
the ufc or bellator is much more money than a former d1 wrestler will make coaching wrestling, that's for sure and that's all that skill set provides. of course the entertainment industry of pro wrestling is a different story

GSP
Conor
Khabib
Jones
Anderson
Chuck
That’s about it.
No incentive..
With no incentive you will not attract major athletes to the sport. Even if they really enjoy the competition. Even if martial arts is a passion. They want to get fucking paid.
Agreed to an extent however the highest end of Boxing paydays, is easily 10 times that of MMA.. This is why so many top end UFC fighters call out boxers and want to fight on their turf..how many guys do you think get majorly rich from boxing?
keep in mind the amount of professional boxers is much larger than mma
its the same shit, the pay days for top boxers are higher but very few ever even make millions

Conor got his ass kicked for $100 million. Every single fighter in the UFC would sign up for that right now.
Dustin is a born fighter. I love him. But he’s also been very open and honest about his frustration over money. He would easily be boxing right now for larger paydays if he could.
As a gay, can confirm. That picture looks like what a cover of a gay porn video probably looks like.
AJ Ferrari is one hell of a personality, really good at selling himself and generating hype. Also crazy elite athleticism. I have a feeling with the new rules for athletes to make money off their names were going to continue to see less wrestlers going to MMA, especially those with big personalities. Eventually it will be like Russia where anyone worth their salt in wrestling continues to stay and make money off social media or WWE rather than join UFC
