He did have more mma experience but he also sucks at it. If he had any brains he would have gone for takedowns but he isn't capable of them as he himself is just a kickboxer himself which Alex has 100,000,000x more experience and skills.

Man if he gets his tdd and grappling up to scratch he could be an issue (however he is 33 so he has to be quick). We saw with Izzy that this level of striking is different (however I think Izzy had the perfect style for MMA adaptation with Alex it’s still to be seen) and that level of power is something a lot of these guys will be shocked when they feel it, and that’s if they are still awake.
