Promoting fighters like Conor who just yap their mouth to get a title shot, instead of rewarding actual fighters that are talented. Conor is decent at best when it comes to fighting. got lit up by last minute replacements (Mendes and Nate)... conor has no place on the main card. All this while real fighters like Tim Kennedy wait it out lol. cant tell anymore if i'm watch WWE or UFC. Promoting fake ass fighters with all this fake ass drama. Gonna watch Bellator i think, gonna retire, thanks for the cheese. Catch you all later

Today it's been revealed that the broadcast peaked at the 11:30 PM ET hour with 2.7 million viewers for the Kimbo bout, not including DVR +3 totals (which will be out on Wednesday). As noted on Monday, this is the highest-rated Bellator broadcast in history, and peak viewership exceeded the previous record of 2.4 million, set by Kimbo vs. Shamrock last year.

As Spike TV's release also noted, World Series of Fighting and the UFC ran their own cards (on Saturday and Sunday, respectively), and Bellator easily had the upper hand in viewer interest. WSOF 28 averaged just 161,000 viewers, which is way down from WSOF 27's 213,000. Six of their last nine events have failed to clear 200,000 on NBC Sports Network.

Stop pretending you know anything about MMA.

I don't think so.

Talk to me when Arianny tops Eva Marie or Paige.

It has always been like this!

But this is what sports stars and celebrities in general do. If they can't have their way, they are going home.

How many shows have you seen where one of the main characters completely disappeared. They made a demand that management wouldn't give in to.

Terrell Owens did it and CM Punk did it. It is their way or bust.

The UFC deserves it. I mean they flew him around on private planes and housed him in mansions. They made a spoiled, entitled baby.

You will see more of the media siding with him. Luke Thomas and Schuab are just the starters. They will act as if the UFC owes him because he generates a lot of revenue. He does but the sport does not end with him.

If he retires right now and never fights again, the UFC will still be around.

The company left bingo halls and has FOX deals, major apparel deals and what ever else. None of these had anything to do with Mcgregor.

Man, you ain't been watching this sport for very long at all. You should spend a weekend watching some old tapes. Get caught up.

"Decent at best" lol

So what does that make Aldo?

This is just fucking stupid.

I'm worse I even confuse real life with WWE. Sometimes I feel things are getting stale and I should turn heel.

I don't like the hypejobs either, but this is old news.

I wish the ufc was the wwe. Imagine how awesome it would be this weekend if jones and osp were fighting and dc came running out jumped in the cage hit em both with a chair and held his belt up .....Or conor and diaz having a fight and aldo coming out of the ring like the undertaker... holy shit it would be awesome

right, because promoting "real fighters" over stars is combat sports 101.
Gsp was legit, as was anderson silva and jones. These are actually talented fighters who fought their way up. Did conor fight his way up? No, he talked his way up and now you got this fake drama surrounding ufc 200. This is what dana meant "you will be blown" lol. This has generated so much hype in the media and it's exactly the purpose of this publicity stunt.
