Take a look at the next FOX card and dare to disagree. The last one was a total disaster with all of the injuries and nothing was done to save it.

Yup I live in the Chicago suburbs and i'm not going. The fights it has, look like they could be exciting in terms of styles, but in name value its about as bad as a fox card could get. I kept waiting for someone to get "sick" from this mega-week and pushed back to that card to help it out.

Yeah this next big FOX card might be the worst they have put on quite honestly. Lost Glover vs Rumble. And Holm vs Shevchenko, 2 counter strikers, in a 5 round main event.

This is reminiscent of other companies spreading their resources thin. Sega in the Genesis heydays got creative with Sega CD and Sega 32X. The UFC needs to get rid of FightPass and put more quality matchups on Network television.

They should do the exact opposite in my opinion. Kill the TV deal and move everything to Fightpass. Fightpass is a great product (i'm not a shill) and would be even better if we could get all the content there all the time. Plus the pacing of shows is FAR superior when they don't have the 30min-per-fight broadcast slot.

In theory I agree, but you know they'd just slowly start adding more and more commercials like youtube/snapchat did to us.

This is nothing new lol. From the UFC's point of view they are supplying some of the best fighters in the world lol.

Very true my friend. I have a feeling the UFC is not going to resign with FOX.

Anything is better than the FS1 cards in terms of pacing and commercials. They just have way more flexibility with the online service.

I find the pacing of the torrents quite nice. Whoever uploads them removes the ads bless em.

You fucking vanilla goof shake. Network television programming is painstakingly terrible. The only good think about UFC on network television is its free, sorta, and they get more eyeballs.

I doubt it. If they did it would ne waaaay significantly less because fightpass generates its own revenue, we pay for it, advertising doesnt need to. Fans would kick up a pretty big stink about it. Youtube snapchat is different, we don't pay for it so they rely on ad money.

I don't have FP, but if they moved all the content there (including PPVs) I'd get it in a second even with a higher price tag. Like if they had a FP premium version with all the PPVs that was $30/month I'd do that.

As far as shortchanging Fox, I don't know about that. There have been some really good cards on Fox, really good fights, title fights, big names etc. I have zero interest in this main event (and I can't believe it was scheduled to headline over Glover/Rumble) but I thought the card was overall solid before Glover/Rumble got scrapped, especially considering the other stacked cards surrounding it. Fox has gotten the HW title, the LW title, the FLW title a couple times, the BW title fight between Cruz and TJ on FS1, not to mention big names like Nate Diaz multiple times, Tate, Rashad, Rumble, etc. And Joanna vs. Claudia for the SW title is on FS1 coming up too, right? Seems like Fox is getting their money's worth to me.

Well that's a let down TS. Sharpen up your thread starting skills please.

Thought you meant the Vancouver card which is 1 month and a couple of weeks away with no main event or co-main event yet.

I completely forgot about the Chicago card so I guess you have a point Lol.

That will probably be the case eventually. The content has greatly expanded, the search is finally fixed and the PPVs seem to be free within a month now, whereas originally it was 3 months. The trend is toward a bigger and better service there. It only makes sense for the UFC to cut out as many middle men is possible.
