Should the ufc have a policy of not disclosing injuries for fighters who pull out of a card? This seems like it would be a disadvantage for the fighters when they return. I understand some injuries will be leaked or obvious (ie rda walking on crutches). But that is up to the camp to try and hide it.

Just a thought.

Interesting idea, however, major American sports typically disclose the nature of injuries. I'm in Pittsburgh and remember the then coach of the steelers, Cower, always getting in trouble with the league for manipulating the weekly injury report. I've always assumed it was a Vegas thing.

Yeah i know in the nhl they say upper or lower body injury, but thAts it. Could be an insurance thing, but they provide the insurance. So i figure they could do something

What would be the reason they said the fighter pulled out the cars then?

Yeah they should just say that a fighter is injured and let the fighter disclose the injury or let the media investigate and find out. There are a few times when they wouldn't say what the injury is, so I wonder if they are getting the fighter's permission before stating the nature of the injury?

Undisclosed injury? Zuffa investigates. The fighters answer to zuffa, so the fans would have to take it at face value.

You must disclose injuries that impede fights to the athletic commission.

So when Brock Lesnar had stomach problems and everyone started punching him in the stomach, he should have said his elbow was sore

Out for a year or whatever

No flaws there
