UFC has no massive draws or stars under the age of 30 WTF

I think it has to do with the UFC having gotten the latest generations of fighters who are now in their 30s.
There has been no real influx of more fighters (zoomers), except in lower ranks.
It's frankly not rocket science. MMA is a very niche sport that is risky and doesn't pay well. It's not soccer.
It also now requires elite skillset that is very rare. Frankly 99.9% of Zoomers would not be able to enter the UFC as it currently stands.

Even in boxing when you look at the young people, they are usually fighters from a poor background or even poor country. It's not the norm.
Most Zoomers would prefer to do something else, like Soccer.

Islam, Vettori, Sugar Sean, Moreno, Holloway etc

Islam will be popular because he is carrying khabib's jockstrap and is living off his name

Vettori is a glorified gate keeper and will be unknown to anyone except for hard core fans. Tries way too hard on the mic and isn't anything special

Sugar sean has potential. he has a cult following from his gaming streams/youtube appearances and his degenerate looks. If he can keep winning he'll be a house hold name.

Moreno ??? lol

Holloway.... I mean if he can finish his fights. sure why not.

From what I'm told no one is interested In men under 30.

What do you expect? No trans or women superstars means the younger generation is not going to tune in. They need and expect diversity.

Really? Are you trolling? You're literally inaccurately labeling an entire generation as SJW's or whatever else to fit your unnecessary political narrative, in the UFC forum, in a thread about boxing/mma stars under 30. Plus, you and I both know FOR A FACT that not a single trans or woman athlete will EVER reach the marketability and popularity a feasible male athlete can and would. So why are you going on the internet and telling lies?

So what, a bunch of guys in boxing got a bunch of alphabet soup belts.

Yep, it is pathetic.

The HW division really is the pinacle of aging and getting worse, but it is a bad sign across the board.

There is a reason the Olympics have younger athletes generally winning.

It's not about young talent, when you talk about fight like Costa/Vettori as instant classic, you know something went wrong with sport, you got wrestling and bjj experts trying to strike, because it's more entertaining and can give you bonus etc. Sad.

Sad thing to say, but boxing is building stars better than UFC has done in the past few years. Pushing guys like Till did nothing as they weren’t skilled enough to hang at the top. They need to focus on their younger talent and get their name out there especially if guys like Diaz and Conor are looking to leave soon.

news flash boxing better than mma not sure if you knew that.

right now the biggest fighters in boxing are old ass wilder and fury

As long as the UFC can find cheap guys just happy to be there, and the slobs keep watching, it's all good.

Holloway, O'malley, Paddy, and Moreno are more popular than every single of one them except Ryan Garcia.

Shakur, Haney, Benavidez, and Ennis are not stars at all.

Not bigger than Davis

I don't know any of those boxers in the op.
Same. It's almost like you have to have interest in another sport to know the participants. Only know Wilder and Fury because they fight each other 4 times a year.

UFC has no stars under or over 30. No one is a massive draw right now, just a handful of fighters people want to see matched up. Full house parties for 1 name are years gone.

Of those boxers, I’ve heard of Gervonta Davis. I’m pretty casual when it comes to boxing, but casuals would at least know who a “huge star” is.
