I think it has to do with the UFC having gotten the latest generations of fighters who are now in their 30s.
There has been no real influx of more fighters (zoomers), except in lower ranks.
It's frankly not rocket science. MMA is a very niche sport that is risky and doesn't pay well. It's not soccer.
It also now requires elite skillset that is very rare. Frankly 99.9% of Zoomers would not be able to enter the UFC as it currently stands.
Even in boxing when you look at the young people, they are usually fighters from a poor background or even poor country. It's not the norm.
Most Zoomers would prefer to do something else, like Soccer.
