Went up roughly 50% from 2017 & that year was a roughly 50% drop from 2016

I had no idea the gates improved that much ($22m)
that should put them over $300m in profit in 2018 & maybe $800m in rev.

why isn't 2018 the best year in regards to profits? It was probably the best year of fights for 2018.

Ufc is dying...

300 mil doesn’t even cover the interest on their loan

It might be
It depends on how high the escalating worldwide deals are

In 2017 they had MayMac on the books with a reported $30-50m rev
So this takes a large chunk of that, plus more in PPV & the Fox deal was about $8-10m more than 2017

I will say this, the tickets have gotten a lot more expensive. When I went in 2016 to t-mobile arena for fight week it was around $60 for nosebleeds, this year same time was $115.

I paid 115$ for a nose bleed tickets in 2012'

But it was GSP in Montreal,
So wasn't that bad tbh.

I paid $160 for upper seats at palms arena for ultimate fighter finale 28 in Nov. That was expensive for that card but the arena was so small it was worth it. Not a bad seat in the house and the card was pretty good.

I paid 400 for seats 4 rows from the cage back in the day. But recently I paid more for shitty seats to 196.

Inflation is a motherfucker
