With such a big group of betters, and a collection of decent amounts of money for the books, I think it would be foolish to think they don't have an intern looking through this. It's probably not as important/serious as some of you think, but it has to happen.

Already unplayable, I don't like betting guys making their debuts as favs, especially when their only 6-0. Frankenstein is nothing special but he's no push over. Kalikas making Frankenstein the underdog is really interesting because last fight he was more than a 2-1 fav over Paul Craig and he got handled. Kalikas also touted Frankenstein in a parlay for that fight.

Guys bookies aren't reading through these forums, I would be very surprised if they were. If anyone is doing it, then it is Kalikas, he sets the lines. Bookies then adjust lines according to the money that comes in. Bookies want even money on each side and they are only really looking for their 10%. I would not be shocked if Kalikas looks through this forum occasionally but no one has proof of that, this is all speculation.

Bookies then adjust lines according to the money that comes in. Bookies want even money on each side and they are only really looking for their 10%. There are some successful four figure bettors here but this forum is only made up by a few hundred people. Sorry to tell you guys but you're not all that relevant in the MMA betting world.

I get your point. To play the other side though, they'd have to consistently lurk and follow the bets of everyone here. They don't want to value the opinion of a couple of people who aren't successful, so there is a little more to it than just lurking time to time. It would have to be pretty consistent

It's more important to get a sense of where money will come in, doesn't really matter who wins or lose.

Just an example, the Conor/Aldo fight. Lots of sharp money on Aldo but that doesn't really matter, what matters is how much money.

I know and I said I wouldn't be surprised if Kalikas looks here occasionally but I doubt it's something he relies on regularly to set his lines. Some people here seem to be confused as to how lines are set and how lines move.
