Media UFC finally accepted Khabibs retirement

Wait, Dana only has one ball? How are you just gonna throw that statement out there like it's common knowledge?

I hope Khabib stays retired and doesn’t let money lure him back. He has nothing to prove and certainly doesn’t need to fight Conor again.

He is on a 12 fight streak. Colby is the only one who has taken a round off of him.

Of the champions left, who is more dominant??
Leon took a round off him iirc.

28-29, 28-29, 30-27

Eh, it makes sense not to classify him as "active" right now, just like GSP, but both could say "I'm back" tomorrow and be received with open arms.

I was kinda surprised Dana's pettiness allowed him to include Leon Edwards and not cut off the list at #5.

yep because the UFC was targeting US ppv market by making the fight at 1 pm ....

" You are out of your God damn mind " if you think khabib is only paid for his US PPV buys, the dude is one of the reason we got fight islands ... Dana said many times he is the most paid fighter with conor right now.
Keep dreaming.

Ferguson's loss should be the nail in the coffin. Unless they can make the GSP fight happen, it makes absolutely no sense for Khabib to come back.

UFC operates in signald and subliminals. during yesterday's UFC256, they didn't add Khabibs 13 win streaks in the top 5 of longest active win streaks

this was designed on purpose to rub Khabib's chops so he comes back. he will come back to a Mega Fight in 2021 if Megafucking Fighter emerges soon on the horizon. Hint: it's not Conner McWashedup

Khabib could easily come back for 5 more fights, sure he seems sick and tired of the game already but he's got the skillset to continue his dominance and reign supreme in his division for a few more years, he's still young enough to be considered in his "prime years" yes age does matter in the current climate of today's elite competition unlike the Randy Couture days when most ppl had dishwasher level of striking.

Damn, people really don’t give Usman the respect he deserves. With Khabib gone Usman is the most dominant champion in the UFC.
He's a dominant champ but he's boring as hell to watch. Be interesting to see if Khamzat can beat him, that's if he gets through Edwards, intriguing stuff ahead for the WW division.

Why is Khabib still in the rankings and USADA testing Pool then? When DC and Cejudo “retired” they took them off the rankings a week after

they’re waiting on the result of the Conor/DP fight, if Conor wins (which I’m sure he will) they will set up a rematch it’s clear as day what’s happening here.

Rematch based on what? It wasn't a fluke

Nothing's official yet, Dana said in the Post Fight Presser that he's still going to talk to Khabib in a months time and try to beg-I mean convince him to come back for the rematch against Conor.

I'm still hoping Khabib goes full gangster and tells Dana and his money fight to go fuck himself. If Dustin wins however, we're going to be seeing a LOT more than 60 cuts to get the money to buy Khabib back lol.

Khabib's got Dana's balls in the Blender, and he's just waiting to see how much money Dana throws at him to not shred them up haha.
Khabib ain't coming back unless Oliveira gets that strap. He would have a new test then

I think people respect his game they just don't like him for whatever weird reason.
