Also met Fedor way back when at the short lived Euphoria MFC in 2005. It was reported that he was going to be cornering some Red Devil fighters there so I made it a point to go and see if I could find him. Luckily I did.

I knew his English wasn't great but he understood when I asked if I could get a photo. He actually smiled with I said to him after the photo "Good luck against Nogueira!" (this was after his NC with Big Nog at the Pride HWGP)

jesus meeting fedor in like 2004.. that’s a hell of a claim to fame, good work.
 
Used to train with guy mezger. Nice guy but a little tight butthole-ish, he had that demeanor that was common with the lion's den crew (almost felt like he was always on edge and ready to defend his honor).

Trained with seakson janjira (Muay Thai) and Carlos machado (BJJ). Neither are UFC fighters but I believe Carlos is the highest rated black belt in the United States and for a while seakson was if not still the most credentialed Thai coach in the US. Both where chill but saekson was a borderline alcoholic and unstable (he ended up knocking up his office manager who was in college and less than half his age). Carlos did the same thing ironically enough with his college aged office manager (lol)

Pretty much all of the UFC fighters I've met and trained with in North Texas have been chill. I did meet Tito and his reputation (both training partner and fan appreciation) isn't made up, he's super geniue and real.
 
Met a load of them at the UFC Fan Expo in Houston 2011.

Outside of that I met Mark Coleman during his first in the UFC. Others DC and Rich Clementi at different times in NOLA. In Vegas I ran into Bisping and had brief conversation with him.
Coaches I met Greg Jackson and Mike Winklejohn on their way to a card.

Mike Swick - nice, but shy

Matt Wiman - super guy. Talked to him and has GF for a good half an hour in Whole Foods

Pat Barry and Rose Namajunas - both very nice. Rose is super shy and Pat will talk your ears off. I was brief because I was on a time crunch. This was at DIA right after Rose won the belt.

Nick Diaz - there's no front to this guy. He's exactly what you'd expect. Ran into him in Mandalay Bay with some coworkers. Glanced over my shoulder while double fisting and saw Nick walking with a crew looking like he was walking out to a fight. Same walk, same scowl. I was half drunk and didn't give a fuck. Strolled over and said wassup. He was actually super nice, but damn if looks could kill...

Todd Duffee - I don't know if he's a dick or if the guy is just socially awkward. I got yellows once for telling the story so I'll leave it at that.

Forrest Griffin - rode an elevator with him in the Venetian. Just nodded because he had his hat down low and was clearly trying not to be recognized. As we hopped off the elevator he just said thanks knowing that I recognized him and respected that he was trying to stay low key.

Thomas Denny - nice guy who wants people to recognize him. Talked my ear off in a Verizon store.

There's a ton more, but those are the ones that come to mind.
 
Bas Rutten, randomly in a lift in Melbourne at a hotel. He was over teaching seminars, had literally just arrived from the airport, said he'd been in the UK and came via Dubai. Dude looked wrecked so I didn't ask for a photo, thank fuck my wife was there to verify the story ha ha

Also met Dan Kelly and Ben Sosoli at the airport, I was going to the same place as them, local MMA card Sosoli was headlining. Pretty sure it was the first time Sosoli had been recognised, he was shocked when I came up to say hi ha ha, I was in a suit etc as well. Dan Kelly was a nice bloke, just telling me this local card was really well run and I'd have a good night.

Met a few but my most memorable one was probably meeting Reem in a restaurant. We ended up having a nice chat about the sport.

Turns out it was him.

Also got kicked out by three mark hunt looking Samoans for taking photos in the club.

Didn't get bashed as I showed them pics of one chubby black dude and then Adesanya.

Trained with Terry Etim and Mike Russo in the Chicago area. Met Tim Sylvia in an airport, I think it was Midway but might have been O’hare. Trained with Edson Barboza and Marlon Moraes and Luise Cane in South Florida. Also trained with Mike Lombardo who was on “Contender series”
