Imagine a company that is major league & owned by Viacom doing this

ADD: He just told me they expected him to sell tickets as well

Brutal, I bet he’d kill for them Reebok coups.

When it comes to MMA, fighter pay in general is bad.

Yep, same standard because Viacom money is all Bellator money I guess

Ouch... Doesn't even cover a month of training. Rich Franklin trained in a garage. With that pay you have to train at a city park.

Damn, dude must either have a horrible record or Bellator really needs to cut their roster thin if they cant afford to pay more than $250/$250 to a fighter.

I've made more than that betting on fights, sitting on my ass eating dorritos in my mom's basement.

ufc fighters only fight 2 times a year compared that nba or mlb which they play over months

Is he one of those amateur regional fighters they are letting onto the card?

Damn 250 sucks.

I make that in about two days surfing the internet at work and not destroying my body

Plus he just told me that they expected him to sell tickets too

Pretty crappy. But he is 0-0 as a pro and won't be on television. The contract also doesn't lock him into some exclusive contract. I'm guessing he didn't earn more than that for his previous 5 fights. Assuming he is only wanted because he is local and they won't have to cover travel expenses.

This guy is a listed amateur. What do they typically make on average? Tree fiddy?
