Media UFC Fighter Fighting On Main Card Has Been Arrested 14 Times And As Recently Of Month Ago

You did read the thread, right?
yes he has a long list that he should not be proud of. does it mean he cannot fight in the ufc or work any other job? a convict is doomed for the rest of his life?
topic starter makes it seem he should not be allowed to fight in the ufc. i see no reason why not. you dont have to cancel people because they are a suspect or have been convicted in the past

He got arrested again last month. At what point does a past and current criminal record play into things?

if he is allowed to work, he is allowed to work. there are a zillion fighters with past and current criminal records. it is something that I see alot in american movies/tv/documentaries and in general. people that are convicted (or just a suspect sometimes) are lesser people and it should stick to them forever.

so he has a current criminal record. now he has to rely on welfare? or be pushed into crime? like i said: the ufc is (as far as i can tell) a source of income for him. why act like he should be canceled because he has a criminal record

Dana and the UFC are massive hypocrites and don't give a fuck about anything but money. Give women beaters and shitty human beings all the spotlight they can handle! Seriously though, someone needs to smash Dana's face in.
This mofu ducks everyone who calls him out. Sadly it will never happen....

Now I'm curious about how many times my fellow Sherbros have been arrested.

I've been detained by law enforcement a bunch of times but only ever arrested and charged once. Charges dropped due to incompetence. Good times.

Arrested once, charged once.

I don't think people should be completely cast out for a couple mistakes. But this guy made one mistake, two mistakes, three mistakes, four mistakes, five mistakes, six mistakes, seven mistakes, eight mistakes, nine mistakes, ten mistakes, eleven mistakes, twelve mistakes, thirteen mistakes, and fourteen mistakes. At what point do you stop treating this stereotypical street thug like he just found himself in the wrong place at the wrong time? And it's not like this is his past from years ago. The guy was pulling the same shit last month.

What does this dude have on Dana to stay signed <{nope}>
Hes got video evidence Dana beats his wife and if he gets cut he will release it to the public and Dana will go down.......... Oh wait.

Detained 3x arrested once and charged once with charges going to trial and getting reduced by the judge for my proper presentation and sentence reduced to probation of 1 year and driving privileges to and from work only for that year.

Criminal records make for higher risk employees and studies show they're more likely to be fired. Employers typically want to avoid bringing dangers into the work place, and ya can't blame em. And this particular job being one of actual TV time, you can imagine people see it as a form of celebritization. They have television partners and sponsor partners who often come down on things like that. People tend to want to see offenses sanctioned and the UFC has a Code of Conduct they're beholden to like almost every employer.

No one should be against people getting a job regardless of background (hell, connecting people with backgrounds to employment is a large part of my job). But supporting an active criminal feels a bit like sharing in accountability.

Is he a good person? Obviously not. However, if if a person can’t even fight in a cage for a living, then what are delinquents/ex cons supposed to do? I mean, really. It’s cage fighting.
Prison league mma?

Non violent offenders should receive all of their rights back when their sentence and subsequent parole terms are completed.

Men that harm women and children should be stomped to death while the guards look the other way and then fill out a report that says they "fell."
