So forgot my VPN on and went on UFC fight pass to check my account subscription and the following options appeared. Monthly Subscription 2799 Yen is $26/22€/£20, meanwhile Annual is 26899 Yen is $257/212€/£192. If you read the description it includes PPV main cards. So basically if you are Japanese you re being charged the cost of 4-5 PPV and you get access to all live events including PPV on UFC fight pass for a year. Anyone know if you can also get the English commentary? Why would they offer this in Japan, meanwhile in Europe we need to own ufc fight pass + order the main event for 38 €, UK you need to buy it on a tv channel, and US you need to pay like $60. Any other countries that offer this "ultimate fight pass"?

I live in Sweden and get every event (prelims and main card) on my normal sports channel. Basically for free.

You get English commentary on Fight Pass in Japan. AFAIK, there's no Japanese commentary option, but I've also never bothered to look.

You subscribers are so gullible. Fight Pass, cable + extended package, ESPN+ , PPV
Those parting with money are the cause of this.

If you buy the ppv, it’s the English broadcast.. at least here in Korea. The ppv here is $25. If you don’t care to watch it live, the ppv’s air for free about 3-4 days later on tv/uploaded to YouTube via the equivalent of Korea’s ESPN. I’ve tried to send the link to friends in the US but they were unable to watch it.

normal sports channel? I havent watched TV in near 10 years.. but which is that?

Actually in Canada it's not so bad either, $65 Cdn instead of $65 US...works out to about $50 USD.

I buy about 80% of them.

Viasat Sports has the rights for UFC so if pay for Viasat you'll get all UFC. Viasat by itself is not free but since MMA is such a small sport in Sweden the price for Viasat didn't go up after they bought the UFC rights. So if you like other sports you get UFC for free basically.

Lol here fight pass with all ppv is 5.5 usd monthly.

In Brazil you pay for a channel (Canal Combate) that broadcasts every event, some local events, bjj events and fight related content. It costs about 15 american dollars a month.
Obviously average income is much lower than in the US (minimum wage is about USD 200 a month).

I am in France, PPV is about 25 euros, and my monthly fight pass is 9.99 euros. I don't know if it's just france but having an internet provider doesnt mean you are going to have the channel that broadcasts UFC, Internet providers have different channels exclusive to them and only a few will broadcast UFC or MMA. If you don't subscribe to that provider, you will still have to use fight pass to watch fights.

same in france, we dont pay for PPV, just fight pass

they need to put ufc on cable tv, this is becoming ridiculous, and dana needs to make deals with major networks

the content of main fight cards are not better than nfl playoffs

ppv model sucks, nobody wanna pay for it and it turns new fans away
