that's why Contender series is great. Everyone is hungry and trying to make it to the UFC.

It's why the WEC was as amazing as it was. All of those guys were trying to make it to the UFC or Pride back then. So every chance they got, they'd go all out.

The best fighters in the world are for sure the top guys, the most exciting fighters are generally the guys on the come up.

It's not so easy to be the best and still deliver nonstop excitement. It's kind of why I've always held Fedor in such high regard in comparison to all the other "GOATs". There was never a single second of a Fedor fight that wasn't exciting.
