Charles vs Max feels like it needs to happen,
I know it happened before, but not really, there both way better now
Would certainly be much more of a fight this time around. First one barely got started before Charles folded from a freak injury.

Next fights I'll get to watch will be Aspinall vs Gane... I'm already bricked up

Hard to trap and take Max down. Really fast for the division with good footwork. Although all it could take is one or two takedowns
Max would either win dominantly or lose via a sub I can’t see max losing in a kickboxing fight. Sorry.

Gamrot can't deal with the top players unless they are also wrestlers. His striking and bjj are not on that level unfortunately.

Charles winning is good for the division, he's got a champion spirit.
Gamrot is good if he's the Hammer and setting the pace. He looked visibly tired in the Dariush fight and a little blown up after 5 minutes tonight. As you pointed out he's good when facing other wrestlers

Let's see him fight BSD

much better fight for both of them at lightweight

just amazing that Charles has been in the ufc for over 15 years now and is somehow even more elite as a fighter

If only i didnt trust all the SMARTGUYS on youtube with their fancy microphones and reading of tapology vote %, i wouldnt have lost half my net worth on some confused creep trying to KO figgy with feints and his eyes.

Charles looked sharp tonight

I like that he called Max for the BMF
He knows that another shot for the LW belt is a waste of time.

It is a waste for everyone as long as Ilia is the champ in LW

Ran right through Gamrot.

Chucky Olives vs. Max for the BMF, fucking sign me up.

I like the two combo booth. Bisping and Gooden smashed it.

Charles delivered a great main event. Made the card worth it.

As for next week: I’ve had enough of mediocre gatekeeper Brendan Allen in main events… dude has leverage on Dana or something with how may opportunity he gets, dude just doesn't cut it.

Gamrot is a really good fighter but Charles showed him what a great fighter looks like. Gamrot had little to no success anywhere.

As great as his UFC campaign has gone, he's gotten really fortunate to have the record he does.

He clearly lost to Arman 48-47. That being a UD was crazy because Arman unanimously lost round 4 on the judges' scorecards when the grappling was even and he had a spinning backfist knockdown.

Scraped a SD crotchsniffing clinic on Turner. Then Fiziev tore his ACL. Almost got KO'd in round 1 by 39yo RDA. I suppose you can argue he scraped the Guram and Hooker losses but I thought he definitely lost the Hooker fight.

The point is his style has a really high floor, tough to beat but at a certain level how limited his overall game is gets exposed and he can't separate in fights.
