Yeah, I often wonder what happened to Purple Storm, hmm I asked a few people but no one knew much about it. I remember Purple on playbyplay enjoying one of the cards and then I never saw him online again, but he never said anything about going away or any health problem or nothing. Purple was such a cool cat, one of my favorite members of playbyplay crew.

Maybe he got bored with MMA, I don't know, but I remember during 2000/2001 I was getting bored with MMA because those were some rough underground years, 1993-1999 was amazing and after 2002 was amazing, but 2000 was so bad and I was close to never watching or caring again either. Its easy to drift away from the sport, especially when your life changes and family etc etc.

Purple said they had to take a step back from Sherdog, to look after aging family member or something like that
