Usually they set up hometown guys with cans but looks like he was set up to be the nail in this one. Was he a BJJ guy or something? Had no wrestling or striking it seemed.

Yeah it was so weird, because Purple Storm was very active and was enjoying the fights and having a good laugh and then he vanished without saying anything. I often think what happened to Purple, he was always a great member of playbyplay crew and loved MMA. I hope he will return at some point.

How exactly was that pushing his religion on anyone? It’s not that much different than a lot of a post fight interviews from fighters with religious beliefs, be it Christians or Muslims. If that post fight interview bothered you or made you felt like he was pushing his religion onto you, then I’d suggest muting a lot of post fight interviews.
