PBP UFC Fight Night 232 - Allen vs. Craig PBP Discussion: Sat. 11/18 at 2PM ET / 11AM PT

Enjoy your Thanksgiving those who celebrate
Is it an usually nice moment ? Halloween really caught on, here, those last 10 years or so, but Thanksgiving is still something we only see in American movies, lol. Our end-of-year family reunion is mostly Christmas. Anyway, happy Thanksgiving in advance. Take care of your loved ones, nothing's more precious !

And, of course, may we all enjoy a lot of violence and blood for 2024 !!

You mean the same Strickland who put him on skates?

I’m a realist. Who’s Allen beaten? A bunch of one dimensional guys past their prime lol?

Anytime Allen has gone against a remotely well rounded guy he’s gotten squashed. Erick Nicksicks gang has ran through him without much difficulty.
Shut up bum

It's alright. It usually gets lost in the shuffle between Halloween and Christmas here lol.

So Ribas above them? Its not like there was much name value below them, probably the only one that could had used a boost was Brito, but that was the feature prelim (if there is such thing on a FN card), seems alright, Monkey king is somewhat popular.
Ribas should be nowhere near a main card along with Monkey King and Hooper.

How's about we use these positions for legit young and exciting prospects with exciting styles that can cultivate a legit following.

It seems like lazy match making and poor card management.

Ribas fight was entertaining enough, which legit, young and exciting prospects were on the card? Ribas is the only name that ring a bell with me if we start from the bottom, not saying there were not better fighters/fights earlier, but its natural progression to be on the prelims if people dont know who you are, if some prospect is only known to hardcores then he is going to be on the prelims, it was a UFC PI card, probably not that many people watched more than the last 2 fights on it.

PS: Ribas has 2.5M followers on instagram, she does have a following, lol. Michael Morales has 200k followers, Hooper 240k...if we are talking following then she probably deserved the main event spot, lol, like i said, she has more than enough name value for the position she was in on the card, and she delivered.

That's the problem it was poor match making from top to bottom. Nobody cares about the likes of Ribas and Hooper. Yet they have main card billing just because they've had a couple of fights in the UFC.

Weak af card, no card next week either, big sad.

At least the week after next is stacked af with Tsarukyan vs Dariush, Hooker vs Green, Font vs Figueiredo, and Brady vs Gastelum

Not bad. Really annoyed by the way the Ogden/Motta fight ended -- especially because it seems like the "lol just kidding it wasn't actually a submission guyz" scenario has happened multiple times lately -- but what are ya gonna do? Wasn't sure what to expect from Orolbai... now I know. Dude might be a problem, especially if he's gonna be down at 155 from now on.

My boy Allen did me proud. Now it's just a battle between him and Dolidze for "most dangerous jitz at Middleweight".

LOL at the hype over a guy who needed the judges to give him a gift decision over Jacob Malkoun.

Paul Craig’s only moment of control was the calf slicer attempt, afterwards both fighters were briefly involved in a leg entanglement, and they both briefly lost control, if you’ve ever been to a BBM tournament, or watched high level grappling this is the moment that both coaches start to yell “ UP UP UP UP “ because they want their fighter to be on top . Craig decided to again to to attack with a straight ankle lock and surrender top position, he never had a moment of control of this fight again , I’m not saying if he got top position in that moment he would go on to win , but maybe it wouldn’t have looked so one sided
