UFC announce team not knowing a basic rule

Rules are hard, man.. remember when Chael said he tapped in the 5th round against Silva, Chael thought he would have lost that round.

Had he known if he tapped, and that would stop the whole fight and its entirety, he wouldn't have tapped

Yeah i always thought thats how it goes too..

If your yelling its considered a tap...otherwise why r u yelling ...

Dude wasnt even arguing it that hard... He knew his knee was cooked if the ref didnt step in

Am I tripping? I tuned out after they showed a replay of it, but when they first did, DC was adamant he screamed and that counts as a tap, no? Didn't need to see it 5 more times

Because he was in big pain... DUH<codychoke>

Umm sorry but does yelling get you out of submissions? ...or does actually defending get you out? ..

That guy looked like he had never grappled in his life which is astonishing considering hes in the UFC lol... He probably doesnt even know how to tap...TBF

The commentators never know the rules, it's honestly been a fucking embarrassment how much the company's loudest voices continue to misinform the audience

They can't be bothered to know this shit, they need to save brain space for letting us know which fighter's ex-wife's dog is going through a divorce or some shit

B.S.!!! Sonnen had already suffered many submission losses before the Silva fight.
...he knew the rules.

That was a dick move flipping the other guy off after the announcement. If you are going to cry out like a bitch, don't be mad if they stop the fight.
